The dog is NOT an American Bully but NOT mainly because of the DNA profile.
There IS diversity in this breed and DNA but you can only call them American Bully if they
meet ALL ABKC/UKC requirements for their category.
A bully breed and an american bully is not the same.

A bully breed of dog is not the new “bully” breed that’s in fashion. Many different breeds of dogs make up what’s known as a bully. Pits, Amstaffs, Boxers, bulldogs, bullmastiffs, Rottweilers, plus tons of more dogs are all bullies. Thus, this dog IS a bully.
You can’t categorize a dog as bully..you have to give it a specific name! Reason we dont call pitbulls BULLYS and we don’t call Cane Corsos BULLYS
clearly the American bully breed has a consistency to it and your dogs dna isn’t consistent with that standard.
ABKC ,AKC even UKC or even EMBARK testing wouldn’t recognize this dog as an American Bully

This is what people don’t understand the bully breed has a standard but at the same time is doesn’t because some bully’s have more bulldog than others and then some Xl have some mastiff in them this dog is indeed a bully
The picture that’s on the dna test it’s 4 weeks old she is now over 4 months and has put on some mass. Getting heavier and stronger. I pretty much got Luna from someone who couldn’t “sell” her because she got a kink on her tail. She is a beautiful obedient and well mannered puppy. I am learning more and more about the breed every day. Her siblings without kinks in their tails were sold for 10 times her rehoming fee. The parents do not have kinks in their tails so I’m assuming she inherited that from her bulldog genes. Dad is massive and it looks like a bully to me. Now, like I said, I’m learning ,and quiet honesty I’m trying to educate myself as much as I can so I can give her a great life. When I visited the kennel it did not look like a BYB operation in fact they do have a website, and the dogs looked healthy, I even got a shirt lol. Also, the breeder had reviews and medical records. She is getting spayed in 2 months, I’m not planning on breeding her.

And the thing about my vets friend is true (I'm good friends with my vet & we joked about the DNA tests)... the other vet did send his & his dogs saliva or whatever off for testing, & the vet came back as an Irish Setter cross 😂, it's hilarious, but that's why I don't trust them.

These dna's are pretty shit.... if they were 100% correct, they'd have been used in the stupid XL Bully ban in the UK....but they go off type.... plus my vet knows a vet who sent his dogs off & also his own & he, the vet, came back as Irish Setter mix!

There were set dogs SELECTED for breedings to CREATE a consistent blood line ! (Razors Edge,Gotti line,and a couple others)
Mixing a pitbull and a bulldog isn’t called an American bully

First off, I'm not a backyard breeder! I don't breed my dogs, ever. My boy is 100% Full American Bully. I can trace his lineage right the way back & he's registered with the ABKC. In fact, one side of his line is from Razors Edge.... but I've not got the time, patience, or inclination to prove the rest of his lineage because I know what he is. And even if he came from one of the lesser known kennels or a rescue (which some of my dogs have been), I'd love & protect the same way! He's part of my family, not a commodity!

I referred to the DNA testing as useless because they're not consistent with getting them right, so no, I wouldn't use one, & I'd take their findings with a pinch of salt! I was trying to be helpful to the poster because, guess what? There are people on here who just love to bully people & say they can't be part of whatever group!
Also, when I mentioned "type," it is because we've been going through Hell here in the UK with regards to XL Bully's. We've had to register our dogs on the Dangerous Dogs List because of money hungry backyard breeders & the wannabe gangsters who train & use them as weapons! So for you to accuse me of being one is fucking offensive & it has really boiled my piss!
The government has decided what can be class as an XL Bully. If a dog is classed as being of "TYPE," they can be seized by the police & euthenised! They don't have to be Bully's. They just have to fit the laws standard of an XL. You then have to go to court to prove they're not dangerous or XL's.... from the 1st Feb this year, it became a criminal offence to own an XL without an exemption certificate. You can not breed (they have to by law be neutered/spayed), rehome, or give up an American XL Bully even if you have had them exempted by putting them on the list. They have to be muzzled & be on lead (leash) while in public & in your car. They can only run & play at home, or if you hire an enclosed field, that's lockable!
