Use [this](https://github.com/MechDR/generate-a-new-anydesk-id) to reset your ID, the nags will go away.

badjano

I made it go away just by uninstalling and reinstalling, but you lose all your data and ids

AniLingus101

That is what this script does, but it doesn't uninstall and then reinstall the app. Way faster to just run the script.

Educational_Smell292

Well, your understanding is wrong then. I'm using rust desk and can't remember setting up a self hosted server.

Fun-Sky8106

Ruskdesk

Thanks for the suggestion, I had come across that earlier, but to my understanding, it needs self hosting for the free plan, that's flexible and great however, our country ISP is limited, and speed is trash, so it isn't a solution for me.

Dirkomaxx

You don't have to self-host. I have Anydesk and Rustdesk installed and they are pretty much identical speed and functionality wise.

AnyDeskSupport

Hello! If you send us over your AnyDesk ID and the region you are located in we can get rid of the 100 second banner for you

iceman2894

My ID is 943-180-715 Region: Egypt However, you do have a serious problem with the detection system lately. Addressing these one by one isn't a solution to keep happy customers.

joshuamarius

u/AnyDeskSupport Please pay attention to this. This sub is being flooded with the comparisons to the same irritationg tactics implemented by TeamViewer and people are leaving your products in the masses.

ialbertolarah

Hello u/AnyDeskSupport, Can you help me remove the 100 second banner, I use it for personal purposes, but it appears every time I connect to my laptop and once connected it appears again. Anydesk id: **1790901689** Region: **Mexico** Greetings.

Mother-Reputation-20

I just reinstalled AnyDesk, with backup of addresses in txt file

Fordwrench

MeshCentral is what i use. I self host it.

screwed-no-kiss

I used the whitelist process twice (with different email addresses) and eventually one of them passed through, since then no nag screens anymore. I manage +10 computers from my laptop, all family (parents and sisters and kids) and 4 of myself including the one running my security camera's, (others are media PC at the tv, NAS, Desktop) Trying to log in the security camera one (which I probably did that often that it triggered the nag screen) was the one giving me trouble all the time but now all works ok. It did take a few days before it was whitelisted though...

There are a few I am testing at the moment; here they are. **Iperius Remote 4** [https://www.iperiusremote.com/index.aspx](https://www.iperiusremote.com/index.aspx) or **Zoho Assist Free** [https://www.zoho.com/assist/free-remote-support.html](https://www.zoho.com/assist/free-remote-support.html) 5 Computers or **DWService** [https://www.dwservice.net/en/home.html](https://www.dwservice.net/en/home.html)

esgeeks

We use Supremo, it is a great alternative.

Gian_Ramirez

There are many alternatives for AnyDesk, for my Supremo it is very easy to use and without problems.

RevolutionaryRip1634

I switched to NoMachine recently because of the same issues. It’s been great no worrying about the timeout limit with AnyDesk.

iceman2894

Thanks, I'll give it a try today
