newtizzle

Great choice! One of my favorites. I always use the "To make a long story short... Too late." Quote all the time

Parking-Place1633

thegreatdandino

I watch it every year November 1st

BoringBob84

Office Space It is a documentary for cubicle workers. :)

eddyathome

The first half is indeed a documentary. My favorite scene is the psychiatrist's office where Peter says every day is the worst day of my life because of his job and the guy says "wow, that's messed up" and then corrects himself. It honestly was the first time in my life where anyone ever summed up exactly how I felt about working in a useless job for way too little money. I replayed that scene a dozen times because finally, someone GOT IT! Then there was Lumbergh's birthday party where everyone looked miserable and he goes on about Hawaiian shirt day and you can wear jeans if you want and nobody seems interested and he just doesn't get why.

lbascones

We're a dying breed..

Definitely a classic during the holiday season.

TrynnaRecover

Gladiator

Spacedust2808

Are you not entertained??

EwoksMakeMeHard

Airplane! Though to be honest it's probably more often than once a year. Whenever it pops up when I'm scrolling through a streaming service I have to come up with a reason not to watch it.

[deleted]

[удалено]

EwoksMakeMeHard

I usually can't come up with one, so I do watch it. And don't call me Shirley.

TheWonderingBunyip

Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit drinking.

LeakingLantern

Joey, do you like movies about gladiators?

WhiskeyT8ngoFoxtrot

Check the vector Victor!

littlegreenb18

National Lampoons Christmas Vacation kicks off the holiday season every year.

thunderGunXprezz

Ever since I misplaced the DVD and purchased it on Amazon I usually kick it off the night the Steelers get eliminated from the playoffs. For the next 3 months I put it on as white noise as I'm cleaning on a Saturday or Sunday. It's just one of those movies where every minute has something hilarious.

Present_Dog2606

The first Harry Potter movie

A_Game_of_Death

That one is such a gem. I end up watching the entire saga like twice a year.

amberrrellllaa

Entire saga once a year for me, twice if I’m lonely LOL

Local-Sandwich6864

Aliens.

1984AD

Yea. Definitely Aliens… but then I have to watch them all and then all of the Predators.

LamarFromColumbus

It's not a movie, but I watch Band of Brothers once a year. It inspires me to believe in humanity and fight for the person next to you. At the end of the day, that may be all you have.

QueenLeaVing

One of the greatest series ever. That and the Civil War by Ken Burns

Fatherofdaughters01

Fuck ya. And the pacific. And Saving Private Ryan. And Greyhound.

Kmalbrec

Glad to see I’m not the only one!

I’d love to try some vat69.

fritter4me

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles Stand By Me.

STyS9

[deleted]

Spirited away

Momvstoddler

All of my children have been mesmerized by this movie. They are usually all over the place but I put this on and they just sit and watch, quietly, it’s magic, 4 times proven.

GeminiSpartanX

For my kids, it's either Naussica and the Valley of the Wind or Kiki's Delivery Service. Both give me a few hours of peace and quiet lol.

Momvstoddler

Oooh thanks, I will need to try those. I can always use some more movies that can give me a few minutes of peace.

Ghost_of_a_Black_Cat

>Spirited away Yes! I love that movie, but I also like anything with sky pirates, and my personal very favorite is *Howl's Miving Castle*.

cathead8969

Fuck yes!!

NoAppointment6341

The Lord of the Rings trilogy always brings me back!

EwoksMakeMeHard

This is a Christmas movie in our family and we watch it every holiday season. My wife doesn't like Christmas or Christmas movies, but she approves of LOTR and Die Hard.

RamonaQuaxli

The Princess Bride. Actually, I watch it multiple times a year.

BBC all the way, but I concur.

hani273

Howls moving castle, it’s a masterpiece

1984AD

Even though I think it’s better looking and has better actors I still prefer Nausicaa, Mononoke, and my absolute favourite Porco Rosso. Howl’s is fifth behind Castle in the Sky. Ughh now I want bacon and eggs.

A_Game_of_Death

I don't think Studio Ghibli makes anything but masterpieces. Need to watch Howls Moving Castle again, it's been a minute.

The Lord of the rings trilogy for 3 reasons. 1. The Balrog scene. 2. The battle at Helms Deep. 3. The Rohirrim Charge. The trilogy is so good, but those are my 3 favorite scenes that'll motivate me to watch almost 16 worth of TV in about 2 days. You have to go with the extended editions.
