If I had to guess, Beasts would be pretty high on the list of possible Chaos factions. Nurgle is confirmed, Khorne is obvious, Tzeentch won't be getting anything and Slaanesh is unlikely. S2D is a bit less likely than Beasts and Skaven, so I'd say odds are about 50/50 of us getting something.
As for what it might be, I'd guess that new Doombull that was rumored before our tome dropped. If it's a new unit, I'd assume something Gavespawn/Morghur related given that Ghyran is one of the settings.
The top of my wishlist, however, would be a new chariot with the option of a Beastlord riding it.
I'd love a reincarnation of Gorthor the cruel or something of the like.
Similar to SBGL have Vengorian Lord/Laukai Vai kit would be fantastic.
A named hero or 2 wouldn't go amiss either, feel a little lack luster on that front ( but I know several fractions are)
Meanwhile I'm just hoping for Ghosteater to get a model and rules. Not gonna lie, though, named heroes are nice to have in theory but in action they don't really work for me.
Speaking of Gorthor, I'm greatly saddened by the fact that The Old World's setting happens literally twenty in-universe years *after* Gorthor's reign. We can only hope that they stretch it a little further so we can have our greatest beastlord back.
I hope so, Beasts are an army that could really benefit from a new hero. Let's get a resculpt for the Shaggoth or Doombull like the Harbinger of Decay got.
I’m hoping for a plastic Shaggoth. The thing has been “temporarily out of stock” since the new battletome. It’s like they’re not even trying to sell it anymore. The Doombull is still a solid sculpt when you see it next to Bullgors, but OMG the Shaggoth looks so off compared to the Dragon Ogors and its artwork.
