Bi people are called faggots all the time so we do count. I don’t use that word very much tbh. There is nothing wrong with queer people using it, and I say it sometimes especially when I’m talking about the word itself, but I run to much of a risk of offending people, especially because you wouldn’t know I’m bi if you didn’t know me. Also that word has such negative history, it has caused so much pain, I just don’t really want to associate myself with it, although I do rarely use it.

I’ve been waiting for this one. My gay friends favorite nickname for me is “half-faggot” so I’ve taken to only ever saying the word “fag” out loud because I’m only half a faggot.

I have always applied the same restrictions to the f-slur as the n-word. If it’s just me and the homies to which the word applies then why not but if there’s homies to whom it does not apply or I’m in more respectable company then absolutely not.

Some people in community feel like it still a slur that is use in negative way by homophobic which is sometimes is but not all times. For example when I go up to group of my buddies who are all gay/pan/poly/bi including myself being pan I say “Where all my F’s at” (I’m censoring for those who get upset).
