I then reiterated that I had to be in charge which set of a short exchange of "No you're not" followed by "Yes I am," until J hit me with the following gem.
"Fine. But, you won't have access to your cross stitch until you admit that you're wrong."

I got my cross stitch. He was very amused and teased me that I just can't live without it. He's right. It's my favourite hobby. If he does end up removing it for any reason I think I might try to brat him by simply starting a new design to get around him having removed my current work in progress. Do you think that would work???
