On Autotrader there’s a charge for listing cars over £1k. They’ll likely have the actual price in the description. Report it, it’s against the terms of service and it’s annoying for those looking for cars in that price range.
£8k for a Cat N with no service history, and an engine light fault….
Would need to be a braver man than me!
Would also question how it managed to get through its MOT last week with the EML on.
I feel like at this point it would be cheaper to rent a second home in a remote place and get insurance there.
It'll be the same cost, and you end up with a holiday home.
Description says £8k so I guess the current price is just an attention grabber
I fucking hate it when sellers do this, I smash the report button every time.
Ring them from a withheld number or a burner number with loads of stupid questions
Autotrader automatically masks your number I think x
Ah fair enough, I didn’t read the description. Guess it worked on me then 😅
Jesus. That's less than 1k per cylinder. This is a steal!
Only if you're a highly competent mechanic. Otherwise it's a money pit. Just about any significant work on these is a 5k engine-out job.

It's a pain in the arse. I've seen dealerships list cars with the monthly PCP price
Yeah the actual price of is £8k it’s in the descriptions
Another thing that annoys me is when sellers say plus VAT in the description for cars that are usually listed including VAT.

Shhhhhh
Probably worth it in spares
Insurance will be prohibitively expensive.
Not as expensive as servicing that fucker
£1k for me. Driving 3 years, £400 more than my TT. But the add does have it at £8k in the description.
Oh I can imagine. My A1 is £7k a year, can’t imagine I’d get insured on this lol
😳 >£7k a year
17 year old living very close to London 😔

It’s scary that that’s not a terrible idea 😂
Why even bother? Why allow them to rip you off like this? Are your parents minted?
You're paying £7k in insurance?!
Unfortunately so 😭 tried to get insured on my Nans fiesta and it came out at £8k!
How much would you spend on Uber? Adding fuel, parking, car service, and car it self I think it would be cheaper to use Uber 😂
8 quid bargain mate
Edited it now!
Omfg...... Mine is £300
Next up on the list of things to blame Gen Z for: Car ownership.
Still wouldn't part with 1k
If it is, I'd park it in the garden and use it as a 12-cylinder shed
A mighty comfortable shed as well.
If anything just leave it in your driveway as a one upper to your neighbours f-pace
Proper big boy pants brave pill.
I think the seller knows more about this car than you do
Lass will blow job
