I miss the times when 10p in the slot would buy you a round of Space Invaders in a pub (Galaxian in the Saloon Bar 🤔) circa 1980, although not as much as the mechanically operated Battle of Britain dogfighting game which was my ultimate thrill in seaside arcades as a child in the '60s.

Hunt the Wumpus! My dad and I would play that on our TI 99/4a.

I grew up in the 90s but my first videogame systems were things my dad found at a flea market, an Odyssey 2 in 1990 and a Commodore 64 in 1992. Then a 486 in 1995 and i played only PC games for a long time after that.

I played that! I still remember the music. I think I started playing it in 1980.

I still have the dream cast.

IBM PC junior, had to order it and wait weeks, that was 1983. First game was Kings Quest then Flight Simulator.

If video games affected you in real life our generation would all be running round in darkened rooms listening to repetitive electronic music and munching pills. Oh, wait...................

I remember in the 90's my mom would drop me off at the arcade, so she could go shopping. $5 could go awhile. If she handed me a $10-$20 I knew it was gonna be an epic day of gaming.

Everyone called the Atari 2600 just an Atari if that's what you mean. Really wasn't another popular Atari system to speak of then.

Yall had cpus in the 70s? Yall aint have like typewriters? Or stones and chisels?

It was a very basic computer with a keyboard and maybe a 5 inch by 5 inch screen.

Do you still play as many hours as you used to? What are some ps5 games you have enjoyed?

I don't play as much.  I enjoy Far Cry, Assasins Creed type games.
