Pushing Daisies. It was such a unique and quirky show with an amazing visual style. There was so much potential for more whimsical cases and relationship developments. Plus, the cliffhanger with Chuck's dad? We need resolutions!
My Name is Earl.
There is a synopsis with how it ends written by the creator but I would have like to have seen it played out. So sad it ends on a ‘To Be Continued…’ finish.
There was a show I got in to a few years ago called utopia. it only had two seasons (12 episodes), and was a really interesting story.
it also ended on a cliff hanger, and I read somewhere that when it did get canceled, the writers were pretty annoyed because they'd all ready written a third series
Sarazanmai. Granted, I haven’t finished the light novels but I still wanna know what comes after the finale. I wanna see them as teens. I wanna see how they grew up. Did they keep defeating zombies? The anime ending is kinda open but I want something solid. I don’t wanna interpret, I want a happy ending spoon feed to me
Prodigal Son or Lockwood!!
Edit: it’s interesting how many of these I’ve never heard of, I wonder if they had not been cancelled if they would have been more well known or the fact that I didn’t hear of them means they made the right call. (Except for Firefly, that one’s pretty infamous for a cancelled show even though I haven’t seen it)
Merlin. I know they had to follow at least the main part of the legend, but the end of the final episode really left it open for at least one more season to wrap everything up, but set in the >!modem age.!<
That would've been really amazing.
Firefly
Another vote for Firefly. It deserved better.
Everyone knows (or should know) that Firefly got robbed.
Mindhunter

Agreed! The writer's strike and high production costs killed this show, but it was so much fun. I really wish we could have seen it to the end.
FireFly most def
HBO's Rome, no doubt
If the stuff about Inara being ill/dying wasn’t included, conclude Firefly.
Star Trek Enterprise. Love the cast and I think the show had yet some great stories to tell.
I enjoyed this one as well and was sorry to see it go.
Santa Clarita Diet. *What happened to Joel?!?!*

The dark crystal series
My so called life
The OA. I NEED to know how it ends. 😩
Omg YES. I was obsessed with that show and the direction of the story. It kills me that it got canceled.
Fauda
This is Us or Shameless
Stargate SG-1

The expanse.
Pushing Daisies, without a doubt. That or Firefly was lightning in a bottle.
Terminator the Sarah Connor chronicles. Two seasons and then left on a cliffhanger and canceled in typical Fox fashion
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
I would love to see another season of Talentless Nana. It’s so good and deserves more than the one season it has.
American vandal, Schitt's Creek

Wander over Yonder having one season is criminal. Also I wish Superjail! Was still around
Sons of Anarchy without a doubt. I would have loved to see how Chibs, Tig and Happy ran things.
Tron uprising
The Peripheral. A regrettable casualty of the writer’s strike.
I totally forgot about that show!
I thought it did real credit to the book and was happy to hear it got a second season
ReBoot. You don't just end with the bad guy taking over everything for over two decades.
Taboo Tom Hardy was phenomenal in that show. There were rumors of a season 2 but I doubt it's going to happen after all this time.

Ash vs the evil dead. I could watch 20 seasons of this.
The Lone Gunmen
I really would have liked to see what season 2 of that old show stitchers could have done. That cliffhanger really had me on the edge of my seat.
The Society!!
The Good Guys & Stumptown
Severance
Severance season 2 is supposed to air this year.
Oh that's cool! I must have last checked when the show was still indefinitely delayed.
Yeah I guess they’ve finished shooting and it’s in post. Great show. Can’t wait!
Carnival

Joe Pickett. I was totally into the whole Wyoming game and fish thing.
