Buried in Topeka, KS too. Something about the sunlight made me think she was in Kansas.
Good find!
It gets even better, she had a sister named Clara Mae (Dyer) Graves. You can’t make that stuff up if you tried.
Their parents are buried in Kansas in a town nearby, Clara ended up in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Glendale, Los Angeles, California.
"She passed away in 2001 at the age of 101. She had asked to be laid to rest in Mount Hope Cemetery amidst “her children.” KCSL staff member Heather Moon has stepped forward to preserve Hilda’s memory—and that of her children— by tending their graves"
Wow, 3 centuries, 2 millennia and 1 grand lady, I’m sure

You go, Hilda. You did something that not many people get to do!

Her marker was so unassuming too for someone as special as she was 🥺
With a name like Dyer, she's got to be in the Midwest!
Wow I never met anyone with the same last name as me (Graves) other than my dad & siblings
Amazing!!! Would love to have heard stories about her life, she sure saw a lot of changes.
incredible!! the stories she could've shared!
Born exactly 100 years after George Washington died.

A bit on Mrs Hilda Dyer, https://www.kcsl.org/celebrating-hilda-dyer-for-womens-history-month/ PS she was a wonderful person.
She lived very long for a Dyer
Does anybody have her on fine a grave so we can post some flowers?
Is this her? https://www.kcsl.org/celebrating-hilda-dyer-for-womens-history-month/
Yep, that’s her
I searched couldn't find any info except that she possibly ran a children's home?
