Very good question.
Even Reagan himself had a highly contested race initially against George Bush in the 1980 primary that risked dividing the vote. Which is why Reagan selected him as VP.
It took Reagan about 2 months in the primary to be the clear front runner over Bush.
You know, I see downvotes here but honestly I think of the word "Presidential," and then I take a moment to think of both of these men.
Makes me wonder, is all.
Good!
Now…it’s time to unite to fight and carry the banner of Light and Truth against the dark and vile forces of Biden of Mordor and his horde of left wing trolls/orcs!
Too dramatic?
I don’t know. I enjoyed it.
And seeing some of the Democrats, you might confuse them with trolls or orcs. Nah. The trolls or orcs would be way more photogenic and personable.
I always think of Palpatine's speech. When they took away rights, forced us to wear masks, locked us in our basements... for a "safe... and secure... society!!"
"This is how liberty dies... with thunderous applause..."
As someone that actually lives in Georgia, I'm aware of that and I find it hard to believe that the 77k+ votes Haley got are all Democrats. Keep in mind that Biden only won Georgia in 2020 by 11,779 votes. Every vote is going to matter in a state like ours and we can't afford a bunch of NeverTrumpers and Libertarians screwing it up again.
Time to pick a VP
Agree, sooner rather than later
Historically, how early is this? For a non-incumbent in a ‘contested’ race.

So sounds like this could be fastest ever for Trump?
Congratulations to Trump and Biden on winning their respective nominations for President.
Can't wait for the bad lip readings of their debates and the epic rap battle of history!
The two worst presidents of my lifetime in a final showdown to settle who is actually worse. Hooray.

We’ve acclimated to having clowns at the helm. We can do better.
Obama was "Presidential" and was terrible. Being a good actor and puppet that MSM loves isn't admirable.
Trump is the best
So there’s still a chance for Haley lol
Congratulations leftists! YOU FUCKING FAILED!!!
Look at your prize. Is this winning?
Considering he's leading or near-leading in all swing state polls and just got over 200K more votes than Biden did in the Georgia primary, yeah kinda.

Hilarious. Modern libs are definitely the enemy of the free peoples of Middle Earth.

Somewhat concerning that Haley still got 13% in Georgia. Hopefully those voters get over themselves and do the right thing in November.
Georgia is an open primary State. Nikki got loads of votes in the open States from Dems using a GOP ballot.

Yeah I would wager that a lot of those votes came from the political machine of ATL.
