I can confirm your second edit. I followed one of the recipes in the other thread and got the same cat with a different set of likes. Kind of a bummer, this makes it hard to plan rooms and since most of the cats donāt like each other it makes duplicates complicated.
Another chart I saw said epic cats have no dislikes, so Iām trying to find recipes for different epics cats so I can put several in each room. Definitely worth it

I just got a witch cat using a spooky egg and some mushrooms. I didn't note the exact ingredients but definitely a spooky egg and definitely mushrooms of some kind.
EDIT: I used a spooky rotten egg, a brown mushroom, and a poisonous mushroom and received a witch cat. It's possible other variations could work, it may be that only the spooky rotten egg is required.
If your console date is Oct 20 or later, there's also a chance you can >!buy one from Ms. Carouse with \~350 candy pieces, if I remember correctly. Good to know they are also available via the beckoner!!<
Why does every single cat have to hate natural decor??? I even have some rare and ultra rare and they all hate natural. It sucks because I canāt decorate the way I want to if I want to have a cat.

I have 4 cats in one room, 3 cats in another ect..I just pick them all up and leave only 1 before I feed them to get the max hearts, then swap them out till they are all fed, them put them all back down. It's a little bit of work but worth it to me

No, I never purchased that. I use the Apple Arcade platform. One day I was putting random foods in the cat summoner and ~eventually~ the rainbow cat was created.
I can officially tell you that there is no "luck of the draw" with the Cat Beckoner. Either a recipe works all the time, or it never works. So if you tried a recipe and didn't get the cat you expected, that means the recipe was not correct.
