It is endless - by the time you get the whole tree done it'll have shed all those and have new spring leaves growing, that you also have to backstitch! Rinse and repeat forever.

This is stunning. The colours are so vibrant. I would love that on my wall. Can I ask why people do grids on the fabric? I just fold mine to find the centre.

I’m more like a chaotic cross stitcher and like to switch to any floss colour, so it’s just easier to control my location with grids

Me too! I mean that's how I stitch too. And also this is looking amazing! It'll be so great when finished, with the extra definition...

To add to OP’s reply, grids just make counting easier, for those 🙋‍♀️who can’t count past 5. Don’t get me wrong, I can do maths, but put a needle in my hand, well, all bets are off. 😂 I start in the upper left corner, so need to find that spot. A rudimentary grid helps with that, too.

About 3 or 4 months and i started backstitching in February but took a break

That’s faster than I thought for the stitches! I got a couple pieces left unfinished because it’s only the backstitching left 😅

That’s my modus operandi too. Some left for months, some left for year

These colors really pop. I don’t even know how to read the info to sign up on the boosty website so I can buy this. Maybe I can get it to translate to English if I try creating an account on my laptop instead of my phone.

Maybe I’m just spoiled with Etsy prices, but $8 for just the digital chart seems expensive. I would rather pay them more to get the cloth and threads all kitted up than pay $8 and still have to go source all the materials. Am I crazy to feel this way?

Pretty sure you can choose a language on boosty. What about price yep it’s a little bit more than an average price for pattern of that size. But due to sanctions I can’t buy anything on etsy.
