I love [studio ansitru](https://studioansitru.bigcartel.com/category/cross-stitch-patterns), I've only made one of her patterns to completion but sometimes I just go to her website and look at the patterns, I think they're all so sweet and cozy, especially the cottages š„ŗ
Yessss! Same! She was number four for me. Just beaten out of the top three by Junebug and Darlin. I have the bee, frog terrarium and a selection of the food samplers. To be honest the patterns are so detailed and beautiful I tend to feel i donāt have the experience or talent to take them on but I always enjoy seeing others complete them. The new spoons pattern she posted today was so just so visually pleasing and it had so much meaning! True talent there.
I stumbled on her site after my daughter showed me the Yee Claw cross stitch pattern and wanted me to stitch it. I ended up buying like 5 of her patterns. LOL My favorite is the Crow: "Yee Caw!" š¤£š¤£š¤£
I have never seen this shop definitely have to check out a couple of those patterns. Especially those cowboy puns are glorious thanks for the recommendation.
Iāve also heard sheās amazing through the grapevine! I own three of her patterns and next in line (hopefully) is the [poisonous plants](https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1312082607/) sampler. But Iām a fickle bugger and it keeps getting bumped down the list through no fault of its own!
Her pattern Hunted Home was my first big finish also. I was so nervous about not having the right stuff she put together a kit of all the fabric and thread and a hoop, even though it is not one of the kits she offers, for me. nicest person ever.
She was so nice to me, too!!! I returned to cross-stitching during Covid after a 20+ year break. Things have changed so much - all the things that were difficult for me while stitching have been updated. We chatted about all the things and she was so welcoming, even suggesting using thread conditioner to help with tangled threads. š
Iāve been stitching Satsuma Street patterns for over a decade, to date Iāve completed 13 cities (14th is a current WIP), all 12 zodiacs, plus the Wizard of Oz and the Alice In Wonderland SALs. Iām obsessed.
I came here to say Satsuma. I love her patterns. I've done several cities. Started the Alice in Wonderland SAL but not finished. Currently working on the seasons - Primavera.
My obsession is currently [Stitching Land](http://stitchingland.store). I love those patterns so much. I wish I could stitch faster so I could start new one as soon as possible!
I can totally see why. I own their white castle pattern but Iām a glacial speed cross-stitch and I know that would take me at least a year to make if not more so I keep putting it off. Iām too addicted to the dopamine hit of smaller projects.
Hereās a link for anyone who likes [the pattern](https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1202811136/). You also get an adorable mushroom pattern included- both are brilliant.
Also a shout out to [Junebug and Darlin](https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/JunebugandDarlin) who along with Pixelins and [StudioPaca](https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/StudioPaca) form the holy triad of pattern shops for me.
Youāre too kind thank you. If youāre in the uk you can get them from [Hobbycraft here.](https://www.hobbycraft.co.uk/flexible-woodgrain-effect-embroidery-hoop-10-inches/6427211000.html) but Iāve also found them on Amazon and eBay as a āflexi woodā or āinitiation wood hoopā. **DO NOT** buy any that have the word āresinā in the listing. They stain aida, are too sticky to even open and when they become even slightly warm the resin rubs off onto your project and hands. Made that mistake once and never again. Nightmare.
Hahaha! Guilty as charged. I have a wall *covered* in my office of their patterns. Their Kirby pattern was my most popular finished piece when I posted it on this board a few years back as well. Canāt get enough of them.
I just started my fifth FlossyFoxShop design. Iāve also done four game controller designs by TheNeedleAndFlossShop. Thank you for sharing all of these new-to-me designers. They are so unique and colorful! I am tempted by Pixelinsās alien lucky cat!!
FlossyfoxShop is likeā¦the most magical thing I think my eyes have ever seen. A rainbow on Aida. The use of colour is incredible. Iāve followed them on instagram for ages and itās just amazing work seeing it all come together. It makes you feel so happy and it pops clean off the aida. I wouldnāt even know where to begin with what to buy because Iād want to buy everything. Thatās a lottery win destination for sure.
TheNeedleandFloss shop is so intricate. No room for mistakes there. Congrats on making so many they must look incredible!
I love CutePatternsByMaria (Maria Brovko)! Iāve made so many of her designs, I just adore all of them. I really like how detailed the backstitching is as well.
Yes, Iām broke af so I appreciate that she has plenty of free patterns! I tried making my own pattern recently, and now Iām even more impressed by her work. It is not as easy as it looks lol.
Yes to the backstitching, that pride and prejudice pattern is ART. Well done for completing so many you must be incredibly talented. I feel beyond intimidated lol
Iām so glad to see her getting the recognition she deserves. I found her account on Insta when I think she had, eh, 300 followers or less and sheās exploded in the past few months and for good reason. Her patterns are the sweetest thing ever. Iām a sucker for a kawaii/sugary colour palette and adding frills and bows to my finished stitches, plus I collect merch of cinnamoroll and Kirby so I was in heaven.
Iāve done a few Durene Jones patterns (https://www.etsy.com/shop/DureneJCrossStitch), especially her Christmas ones. She also has an adorable series of little stuffed animal mice where you make little houses for them in an altoid tin. Theyāre only available in CrossStitcher magazine which I get via my library on Libby.
For me itās Mamawitchxstitch, itās like sheās plugged straight into my soulās happy place. One day I shall own them all! Sharing a 3-way second place would be The Witchy Stitcher, Night Spirit Studio and Noctiflora Designs.
Ok I have never heard of Mamawitchxstitch before but I instantly let out a little happy ānooooooā when I saw [this kitty](https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1341121508/) because I knew it was coming home with me. And then thereās a capybara wearing a wizards hatā¦someone help my wallet. Itās all very āOver the Garden Wallā and I love it.
Thank you so much. Whatās gives it away as real is the insane amount of cat hair stuffed into each stitch. Enough to make it a memento mori when the time comes
I discovered u/NeedleLotDesigns through this sub and I am absolutely obsessed with all of their patterns! I find myself often going to their shop just to admire all the beautiful designs! The whale pattern is definitely going to be one of my next projects!
Paula Minkebige of Cross Winged Collection. Her patterns are detailed yet simple and it is so soothing watching one come together. I have aspirations for a gallery wall of all of her designs. I was paying for a lot of overpriced patterns from third parties before I found out she was still alive and will ship patterns for extremely reasonable prices.
Mine is [Vivsters](https://www.etsy.com/shop/Vivsters)! I loved her patterns so much, I went and bought more than I'll probably ever be able to stitch. Oh well! It'll keep me happy for years. LOL
I've made several of the patterns from the Creepy Cross Stitch book by Lindsay Swearingen! The designs are so cute and spooky! I'm going to hang the one's I've made up around my house as a part of my halloween decor this fall!
You all are bad influences!
CutePaternsbyMaria, stitchwithcoffee, tinymodernist are 3 faves on Etsy.
Cottage Garden Samplings for paper patterns (love love love The Year in the woods).
I canāt take any credit for that Iām afraid, but thank you. it really is the hoop. I donāt like these ones visually at all (my style has moved on a lot since I bought a job lot) but theres something in the way it holds the Aida that it lays the thread beautifully flat and uniformly with minimal effort. I really canāt recommend them enough if you like the style.
Iām a big fan of Jo Lynchās animal designs on [HAED](https://www.heavenandearthdesigns.com/charts-by-artist-160/lynch-jo-265/). I have 4 in my queue. The bright colors are my jam.
Schimm Schimmel, Ciro Marchetti, the bookshelves (is that Aimee Stewart? can't remember), Randall Spangler (almost forgot him!), an awful lot of the classical art section, Jonathan Earl Bower, Laurie Prindl.... I have an addiction :-D
To make it worse, I really have an urge to buy digital prints of all the 1980's Black Stallion covers, just to convert them to patterns. alas, will maybe never happen, but I have a fondness for a lot of 1980's style book cover art!
I love Ciro Marchetti for the bizarre whimsy in so much of his art. The bookshelves are Stewart. Her works have so much detail that I think it gets lost unless you do an SSMC (not going there), so I buy puzzles of her art. I keep looking at Spanglerās dragons (I like quirky, snarky stuff, things with humor) but canāt choose one.
At age 70 I have to be way more selective than Iād like, because I just donāt have the years left to stitch all the things. Hell, I donāt think I have I have the years left to stitch my chart stash, but did I avoid the current sale? No, I did not. Bought the new Fairytale Fabric Mermaid by Dragon Muse. Sheās doing amazing 3D effects with AI, like nothing Iāve ever seen. Her dragons sell like hotcakes. Also bought Jo Lynchās Flamingos.
Edit - clarity
*Grins* Hard for me to avoid the sales, too! I fully intend (hah!) to finish stitching at least one HAED in my lifetime... but I'm also expecting that whoever gets my stash of stuff is basically gonna make out like a bandit. Too many kits, too many HAED and other patterns, too many threads. But I love having them, and dreaming about them too!
Yeah, I just checked my HAED stash, itās at 35 now, including freebies. But I did buy 20 of them, thatās still enough for an anyoneās lifetime. š
ā¤ļøLove your optimism!
A few years back I embraced tent stitch because it takes half the time. Should help me, but then I see a new chart that I simply must have. š
Iām slowly making my way through all the fairies of [StitchyPrincess](https://www.etsy.com/shop/StitchyPrincess). Realizing from this thread she is the only shop Iāve done multiple patterns from. Edit: Not counting Panna kits Iām currently avoiding finishing because they are HARD
I love Durene Jones and Emma Congdon. Emma has 4 books available on Amazon.
Durene's Etsy shop is DureneJCrossStitch and Emma's shops isStitchrovia. They both have fan pages on Facebook and Durene has her own page and has Friday Freebies every Friday. Her page is Durene Jones Cross Stitch and under that title it states "artist". She also has several books out also available on Amazon.
I basically only by kits by Dimensions and Trimits, I know those are brands and not single artists but I just like the designs they both make. Other than that it's Emma Congdon, everything she does is great but always so varied.
Nothing wrong with kits! I wish I could do more. I find them super relaxing and less effort for some reason. Iām sure thatās all in the mind. And [Stitchrovia](https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/Stitchrovia) is an absolute timeless classic. Canāt get much prettier than Emmaās work.
Thank you so much. They really do pop. Iāve just bought her latest with the little teapots and carrot cake and Iām so excited to stitch it. Also, I Just wanna say I feel the same way about your work, you have such an iconic style. And your spoons pattern from today, the amount of thought youāve put in is incredible! Yikes- itās like talking to a celebrity.
Ohhhhh, I may have to give one of their patterns a go. I've been itching for a quick project between all the other crafts haha
Thank you for the recommendation! š«¶
And ahhh, no need! I'm pretty much just a dork who loves pixeling and crafting haha. And thank you so much! š„¹š¤
I just discovered them so havenāt made many but finding Crossed Wing Collection was like striking gold! They have so many realistic birds including some relatively obscure species!
yendesigns on etsy!! they do a mini famous artwork series and theyāre so lovely and the perfect size, quick but still super satisfying to complete!!!
Iām a diehard Junebug & Darlin fan. Iāve made so many of her patterns, including the entire zodiac constellation set. Absolute perfection every time
I love [Sheena Rogerās designs](https://www.sheenarogersdesigns.co.uk/) Iām pretty slow with stitching but Iāve done her Anne Boleyn pattern and now Iām doing the Joan of arc one. I would love to do more but I try not to buy kits unless Iām ready to make them. It does worry me that she has a Trump design thoughā¦. Especially as a British person?
Thank you so much for asking this, I'm finding so many new artists I like!
Shout out to The Stranded Stitch for my very first cross stitch, their "This took forever" pattern.
For artists who I've bought multiple patterns from, and which are in various states of finished: The Witchy Stitcher, Mama Witch Cross Stitch, LesMagicArtPatterns, Stitch Sprout, Night Spirit Studio, and SugarBplays, all on Etsy. I'm subscribed to Witchy Stitcher on Patreon!
If you like gnomes, I highly recommend [Favorite Gnomes](https://www.etsy.com/shop/FavoriteGnome)
Her patterns turn out beautifully and she is amazing to work with if you want to tweak the pattern.
I love Stitchrovia but sheās too prolific and Iāll never stitch everything she designs.
I also want to stitch everything Barbara Ana Designs but again, thereās not enough time. But at least her designs are medium/small and easier to complete.
The Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery! I am always so in love with their designsā¦ I barely have time to stitch anything else. I love how they put a lot of time and effort and design into making their patterns an experience with all the extra goodies they make. Plus they are so chill and fun to listen to when they do Live feeds.
I love [Aliton Embroidery](https://www.etsy.com/shop/AlitonEmbroidery). I have way too many of their patterns. They're just so much fun and almost all of them are snarky humor which I adore.
Iām working on my 3rd pattern of AvroraCS. I just love the stained glass disney patterns!
Sheās Russian though, so her patterns can be hard to find these days. Inspireuplift seems to have most of them.
Your stitches are soooo neat!! Have you heard of YummyBunnyDesigns on Etsy? They don't have many patterns but the ones they do have may be right up your alley, there's a couple I'm planning on doing at some point
Perfect arenāt they? Everything you could ever need with those two! If you havenāt checked out Studiopacas Patreon then itās a must. Ā£5.99 for 17 Polaroid patterns (actually it might be more) and a bunch of studio Ghibli designs as well. Iām literally set for life.
Yes. I even went so far as to try to make a pattern out of the one piece that's not already a pattern. I can't seem to find a place to scan a poster of the original art and adjust the colors properly.
Not particularly. I do love oraloa though and will probably try to buy from them more but their stock is very limited.
Thinking of moving to geckorouge and trying out some from there!
I love [studio ansitru](https://studioansitru.bigcartel.com/category/cross-stitch-patterns), I've only made one of her patterns to completion but sometimes I just go to her website and look at the patterns, I think they're all so sweet and cozy, especially the cottages š„ŗ
I swear I just saw the only knives one here just posted as an FOā¦
Yessss!
Same!! I'm hoarding the cottage patterns even though I haven't been able to work on them yet. So pretty!
Omg I just checked her out bc of this comment and now I'm actually obsessed
I love The Witchy Stitcher. She is one of the nicest people to work with and all her patterns are easy to read and fun.
I'm making this right now and I am loving every stitch! I like all of her patterns too so it's nice to hear that she is great to work with!
The Witchy and Night Spirt Studio and my favorites!
Those are my two favorites. I want to buy every single one of their patterns and spend the rest of my life stitching them all.
The Witchy Stitcher was my first big completed pattern (Universal Monster Mansion). I'm so proud of it, it's on my wall 365 days of the year! āŗļø
We chatted about all the things and she was so welcoming, even suggesting using thread conditioner to help with tangled threads. š
Me too!
Came here to say Witchy! š¤
I'm pretty obsessed with HappySlothPatterns. https://www.etsy.com/shop/HappySlothPatterns
The cat loaf is hilarious, and I have the cup noodle! I canāt believe it, I totally forgot I owned that. Thanks for the reminder!
I'm currently in the middle of vintage love.
Ahahahha āSquirrel With a Pearl Earringā is now going right to the top of my list.
Yes same!
Love them, too!
I have a wall of Happy Sloth projects in my classroom!
Thanks for sharing. Their Satan asking 'Oh, not today?' sends me š¤£
Satsuma Street!!!! Love her pretty little cities patterns. They so cute and fun to do.
Iāve been stitching Satsuma Street patterns for over a decade, to date Iāve completed 13 cities (14th is a current WIP), all 12 zodiacs, plus the Wizard of Oz and the Alice In Wonderland SALs. Iām obsessed.
Alice is in my queue for later this year. It went into time out a few years ago (canāt recall why), but Iām ready to give it some love.
Iāve done 2 of her cats, I think. Halloween cats and Christmas cats. Lovely and so easy with her block style.
I came here to say Satsuma. I love her patterns. I've done several cities. Started the Alice in Wonderland SAL but not finished. Currently working on the seasons - Primavera.
Love Satsuma! Iāve only completed the Tokyo city pattern so far but I loved every minute of it.
As a new cross stitcher - just want to say this thread is amazing, OP, but has been so so horrible for my wallet lol
Pigeon Coop Designs is one of my faves!
My obsession is currently [Stitching Land](http://stitchingland.store). I love those patterns so much. I wish I could stitch faster so I could start new one as soon as possible!
Thank you for this recommendation! I've never heard of Stitching Land before but their designs look so pretty and colourful
I can totally see why. I own their white castle pattern but Iām a glacial speed cross-stitch and I know that would take me at least a year to make if not more so I keep putting it off. Iām too addicted to the dopamine hit of smaller projects.
Iāve made that one (and others) too! Iām still so mesmerised by it after 2 years
That's gorgeous! I couldn't find them on IG, do they have an account there?
It's stitchingland2021
Oh my goodness, I just looked through their Etsy shop, these are gorgeous! I love the bright, saturated colors and the art nouveau style.
Hereās a link for anyone who likes [the pattern](https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1202811136/). You also get an adorable mushroom pattern included- both are brilliant. where did you get the hoop from? it's so cute! great post š„°
I love CutePatternsByMaria (Maria Brovko)! Iāve made so many of her designs, I just adore all of them. I really like how detailed the backstitching is as well.
Me too! She has so many free ones as well. I've made somewhere around 10 or 15 of her designs so far - they are just incredible
Yes, Iām broke af so I appreciate that she has plenty of free patterns! I tried making my own pattern recently, and now Iām even more impressed by her work. It is not as easy as it looks lol.
I live the whimsy in some of them. Castle on a whale is on my wishlist.
Yes to the backstitching, that pride and prejudice pattern is ART. Well done for completing so many you must be incredibly talented. I feel beyond intimidated lol
Instagram recommended me some of [ColofullySarah](https://www.etsy.com/shop/ColorfullySarahShop) posts and I fell in love with her designs!

Long Dog Samplers are my current obsession, for the last 5 or 6 years. Might be long term now š. Also love Satsuma Street!
Two of my favorites too!
AwesomePatternStudio makes some of the best gifts I've given. [Etsy shop here.](https://www.etsy.com/es/shop/AwesomePatternStudio)
Love her city patterns. Iāve stitched 7-8 of them, all places Iāve lived or spent many days.
Lovely idea!! I've done some zodiac signs and a horse. All their mandala style designs are chef kiss.
Iāve done a few Durene Jones patterns (https://www.etsy.com/shop/DureneJCrossStitch), especially her Christmas ones. She also has an adorable series of little stuffed animal mice where you make little houses for them in an altoid tin. Thanks for sharing! I'm definitely doing that kitty next too!
Mamawitchxstitch is my favourite!
This is insanely clean work. I thought this was a computer generated pattern
Thank you so much. Whatās gives it away as real is the insane amount of cat hair stuffed into each stitch. Enough to make it a memento mori when the time comes

Ooh I need to follow all of the shops on this thread!
I do the cloudsfactory SAL every year. Doesnāt matter what it is, Iām stitching it lol.
Ooh, the pansy and mushroom are fab. Love the clear colors and simple style. I hadnāt seen this designer before. Thanks!
Mine is Artecy, I love the variety and they are so beautiful
Iām a big fan of Jo Lynchās animal designs on [HAED](https://www.heavenandearthdesigns.com/charts-by-artist-160/lynch-jo-265/). I have 4 in my queue. The bright colors are my jam.

I've made a lot of stuff designed by Faby Reilly. She's brilliant.
So many great recommendations in this thread! I'm going to have a long to-do list...
Yup... stitchrovia http://www.emmacongdon.com/index.php?/illustrated/stitchrovia/
I really love [InfinityBearDesign](https://www.infinitybeardesigns.com/)'s style, but I haven't made any of their patterns yet.

I love Emma Congdonās work. I have several of her books and havenāt found a pattern yet I didnāt like.
Check out Artecy, theyāre amazing too
Immediately recognized Pixelin's style by those vibrant colors. They really pop against that black aida. š
I've been itching for a quick project between all the other crafts haha Thank you for the recommendation! š«¶ And ahhh, no need! I'm pretty much just a dork who loves pixeling and crafting haha. And thank you so much! š„¹š¤
Iām a huge fan of Vivstersā patterns. Iāve completed one, part way through another, and have several more on my to do list.
your stitching is so neat and satisfying to look at š
Thank you so much that really means a lot. The hoop is doing a lot of heavy lifting here though, keeps the tension really well
I love flexi hoops! But donāt sell yourself short; you clearly put a lot of effort into your stitches. Itās really well done :)
I just discovered them so havenāt made many but finding Crossed Wing Collection was like striking gold! They have so many realistic birds including some relatively obscure species!
All of the preens by Ashley Mae (make it pink) - she does so many amazing patterns!! Slowly grabbing them all up!! https://www.makeitpink.net
ScreamingHeartDesigns. I love everything she puts out!
yendesigns on etsy!! they do a mini famous artwork series and theyāre so lovely and the perfect size, quick but still super satisfying to complete!!!
Iām a diehard Junebug & Darlin fan. Iāve made so many of her patterns, including the entire zodiac constellation set. Absolute perfection every time
Is she on etsy? Couldn't find her :(
Here you go! š https://www.etsy.com/shop/JunebugandDarlin
Ah thank you! Instant favorit! I looked for the name with & and didn't find it... ;)
Ship's Manor. I like that it is a male designer and that is rare. I also like the patterns so the gender part isn't the only thing.
Cottage Garden Samplers! I fell in love with the A Year in the Woods series and am slowly making my way through them!
Your stitching is STUNNING! It is perfection. What floss did you use?
Oh wow what a compliment, thank you so much, how sweet of you to sayš„° Everything I stitch is just with good old DMC!
If you like gnomes, I highly recommend [Favorite Gnomes](https://www.etsy.com/shop/FavoriteGnome) Her patterns turn out beautifully and she is amazing to work with if you want to tweak the pattern.
[UnaBuenaPieza](https://unabuenapieza.com/en) is my current favorite! So many cute, whimsical, witchy, cozy patterns!
Thanks for this thread! Ā Sometimes itās hard to tell which sellers are legit, and these all sound good.Ā
They don't have many patterns but the ones they do have may be right up your alley, there's a couple I'm planning on doing at some point
omg a fellow pixelins and paca lover š«¶ they're my two favourites as well!
I'm on the Patreon š«” I get the zines sent to me every month and it's the highlight of my month!
Right now I am working on some by Small Town Needleworks. I have a designer I like for needlepoint too.
Absolutely love this!! So many new people to buy from š Thankyou!
