I love the look on Louis II's ("Lewey Dewey" in my head) face. He looks like a cat that scratched the vet an doesn't have to go in the carrier anymore.
Had a similar experience happen to me during my Carthage run. My heir inherited at 16 with all the traits of my starting character, basically reincarnated. Then his uncle through gavelkind chicanery inherited half of the empire as a vassal and easily took the throne because no one liked the emperor since he was disfigured and young. A plague came through my capital and killed him and all his heirs so my OG re-inherited the empire and he became the most successful emperor of his dynasty.
Saw an AI Norway in my game, it had the son of Haraldr Fairhair (867) take the throne, lose it to the king of Sweden in a war, then the king of Sweden literally disappears, the former king retakes the throne thanks to elective, only to be murdered by his nephew (who named his heir after him) only three years later, his nephew then proceed to get murdered by someone else after a nice long 35 year reign, his son then ruled for 23 years until he got so angry he just keeled over, and then his son, my nephew, took over completely on accident.
R5: Got ousted by a faction for my uncle but he had no children so I took back my throne in almost four months.
Was the kings departure natural, or an "unfortunate accident"
Blue skull means he had some help shuffling off the mortal coil.
"shuffling off the mortal coil" is an amazing locution.
O

Made me chuckle a lot harder than i shouldve
And did Uncle Louis have any help with giving you back your throne
His death skull is blue, which means he was murdered but no one knows who the murderer was. So yeah, nephew Louis probabaly made his uncle help him.
Who could possibly say!
Guess whos back, Back again
Louis back, tell a friend.
gross, Karling (sorry)
If it’s from the 1066 start then it’s cool though.
Never apologize for that, could be worse, imagine him being Fr*nch!
Être français c'est dégoûtant.
Oh, no, louisiana is fighting Quebec
I see your flair makes sense. karlings are good
Louis the 2nd simply went on holiday , got lost , they presumed he died , then he came back
What a pity. Uncle Louis committed suicide by stabbing himself fourty-five times in the chest. : (
Kaaaaarling, that kills people!
Multiply this pic three times and that's what typicla byzantium title history looks like
It's so over - We're so back
Don’t hate on the Carolingian chads.
He couldnt fix the economy in 4 months 🤷🏼♂️
Had a game where everyone hated my guts but Superman was my spymaster. Let's just say this happened more than once.

Nice job getting rid of that poser

Karling 🤢🤮
I hope all the other claimants had little accidents going down the stairs
smth like this happened to me too, my liege banished me, my heir was my brother or uncle, he died and my banished character was the heir
First thing to do: peacefully watching a nation-wide purge from the throne like it was cartoons on a saturday morning
Looks like Louis III got uninstalled
Louis the 2nd and the 4th
And where did that bring you? Back to me🗿🐐
