I do have one but it lags with the mouse & keyboard, & only intermittently works for the HDD.
So I was wondering if anyone else can recommend me something better
May I have the service tag of the system (via a private message) so that I can get back to you.
Also, are the keyboard and mouse being used Dell or non Dell products?
I've had issues with KB/mouse receivers, replaced my microsoft and logitech sets for an off brand rechargeable set and have had no USB issues since, hehe...
Look at the amount of bandwidth you are using. You will need to get a powered dock - preferably a type c one! How do you expect 3 USB3 ports from 1 port? Bandwidth will be shared if using simultaneously!
Yes, I figured I need a powered dock.I just wanted to see if there is any recommendation for one that will work and not too expensive.
Can you show me which one you have? Thanks
Hi, Here is the Guide to Dell Docking Stations https://dell.to/2X4lkb9 Regards, Gopal
Then just order one of the cheapies you can find on Amazon, they are all solid and cheap now thankfully.

Could you tell me what docking station are you using with the system? -Gopal
It's Vention Type C Adapter (Type C Multi-Function Dock). Bought it on eBay
Hi, Our support would be limited on 3rd party devices. Did you check if the issue occurs while using a different dock? -Gautam.
I only have 1 dock so have another to try.

I use a Dell TB19 at work, don't have one yet at home.. I will mostly end up moving that home. And i also only have 1 monitor.
It is a bit expensive for me. Thanks for letting me know :)
Get one that has external power! My satechi USB c hub cuts the battery life in half even if nothing is plugged in it
Thanks. I will see if I can find one here in Australia and that is powered
