When i was a kid, it was spinosaurus because it was so awesome in jp3. As an adult, it’s spinosaurus, because it gives paleontologists the finger every year
Deinonychus or Utahraptor, because there's an argument to be made that either one of them are the actual velociraptor from Jurassic Park.
The bottom line is I like big raptors lol
Hell yeah, that was my choice. Deinonychus was the original badass. Somehow Velociraptor got the part for Jurassic Park, probably because there's no cool nickname for Deinonychus. No one's running scared from a couple of Donnies
The velociraptors in the movie were actually based on deinonychus. When Michael Chrightin wrote the book, he wanted deinonychus, but didn’t like the name, as velociraptor has a better sound to it. And the name stuck through the movies. Velociraptor is actually a rather small animal. Smaller than a Canada goose
It’s Rexy for me too, who cares if she’s popular. Rest of them are just mad about the bite force.
Also this is the first time I’ve seen that image in the OP. Sometimes the internet is okay.
The dynamics of it's bite power are the most fascinating thing about any dinosaur imo.
I still contend this dino is king, and would own any of the other therapods.
>I still contend this dino is king, and would own any of the other theropods.
Not even that far fetched when you consider the kind of *neighbors* they had to endure.
I love ceratosaurus so much I modded the allosaurus dnd stat block to make the ceratosaurus. (I also did the same with t rex to spino and want to do triceratops to styracosaurus next)
It's too hard to pick anymore.... Their all adorable and awesome!!!There's badass giants like t-rex and spino, the ones smaller but still just as badass like allo, baryonyx and carno, then there's the smaller but either equally badass or equally adorable herrerasaurus, raptor, ceolophysis and dilophasaurus.... I can't pick....
Baryonyx
Good….good….
One of the largest carnivores in Europe
They haven’t seen me yet
But It iS A fiSh-EAtinG dInoSAuR
Wats wrong with dat
Not exclusively. Some Baryonyx fossils have been found with other terrestrial remains in the gut.
Thats a good one
Absolutely!!!
I would have to say Spinosaurus
You’re GODDAMN RIGHT
Absolutely agreed
spino and carno for me
Carnotaurus.
a fellow carno fan!
Carno fans got "Disney's Dinosaur" & "Prehistoric Planet" to cover both ends on how to depict them lol
spino and carno for me!

Solid Dinosaur.
Allosaurus and the descendants (Carcharodontosaurids)
Samesies.

When i was a kid, it was spinosaurus because it was so awesome in jp3. As an adult, it’s spinosaurus, because it gives paleontologists the finger every year
*Every week lol
what abour irritator
Iconic for being so frustrating they named it that. That whole branch of dinosauria is a troll
It gives paleontologists ~~the finger~~ _a completely new appendage_ every year. FTFY.
Yutyrannus, Utahraptor, or Torvosaurus.
utahraptor w
Deinonychus or Utahraptor, because there's an argument to be made that either one of them are the actual velociraptor from Jurassic Park. The bottom line is I like big raptors lol
Big raptors are awesome
I really hope Dakotaraptor is a valid genus. Built like a Deinonychus, but Utahraptor-sized, and it would have scrapped with young T-rexes.
Deinonychus
:0 another deinonychus enjoyer
Yes!
Yes deynonichus the best
Hell yeah, that was my choice. Deinonychus was the original badass. Somehow Velociraptor got the part for Jurassic Park, probably because there's no cool nickname for Deinonychus. No one's running scared from a couple of Donnies

Whoa I never knew! Poor Deinonychus😂 well Canadian geese are pretty aggressive so I guess their legacy lives on 😭
Has been my favorite for over 30 years. Even before they had cool feathers! However, I still don't know how to pronounce it correctly xD
T. Rex Yeah I’m basic.
Liking T.rex is like liking vanilla ice cream. It’s popular for a reason and ain’t nothin wrong with it.
Vanilla ice cream *is* banging though
exactly.
Like imagine being so good you become the default option
Vanilla ice cream slaps. Have you ever had it topped with white chocolate chips?
There is nothing basic about liking the king
It’s Rexy for me too, who cares if she’s popular. Rest of them are just mad about the bite force. Also this is the first time I’ve seen that image in the OP. Sometimes the internet is okay.

>I still contend this dino is king, and would own any of the other theropods. Not even that far fetched when you consider the kind of *neighbors* they had to endure.
It's arguably the most well understood dinosaur, with each discovery emphasizing how OP it was.
Ayyyy a fellow T-Rex enjoyer
Cryolophosaurus, in fact it’s my fav in general
Wow another Cryolophosaurus Ellioti fan in da wild:)
Yeah, it’s sad you don’t see those as often

Dilophosaurus. Love my two crested boi
Bald eagle, majestic kekekeke dinosaur
Based modern dinosaur enjoyer

Carnotaurus the goat
Accurate Dilophosaurus
Dilophosaurus
Yutrannus! ceratosaurus, spinosaurus and dakotaraptor
Is the name Dakotaraptor still valid? I know it's a chimeric species for sure but no idea if that would make it invalid
Ornitholestes.
Dakotaraptor if it’s Valid.
Not technically a dinosaur I suppose, but Postosuchus for me. Goofy-ah motherfucker
Albertosaurus or Suchomimus
Carcharodontosaurus, followed closely by Carnotaurus

Spinosaurus or Baryonix. I like dinosaurs like those two

Crylophosaurus. That crest bro.
Allosaurus. I grew up watching dinosaur revolution. Broken jaw didn’t deserve to get whacked like that😭
Spino
Spinosaurus
Baryonyx, Spinosaurus, T-Rex, or Velociraptor
Saurophaganax
Toss up between Carnotaurus or Tyrannosaurus Rex and maybe Allosaurus.

[Trumpeting Carnosaur](https://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=636885)
Concavenator
Allosaurus. Got the fossil tattooed
Fully carnivorous? Proceratosaurus. If omnivores are allowed it's Oviraptor.
Technically not a dinosaur, but I love Dimetrodon genus (sailback synapsids make me laugh)
Spinosaurus
Pretty even tie between utahraptor and carnotaurus
Allosaurus for me
I'm gonna assume popular dinos don't exist and say Austroraptor. Idk why but I always liked it, raptor that eats fish very cool.
Purussaurus brasiliensis
Megaraptorids are so underrated, so I'm gonna have to go with Australovenator
It's really close between the Tyrannosaurus Rex, Carnotaurus and Dilophosaurus for me.
Spinosaurus aegyptiacus - Spinosaurus
Acrocanthosaurus
Maip..
Albertosaurus
Charcardontasurs
Spinosaursus
