you have a pretty decent team already if i may say so (im also new but ive been reading and watching some videos:)) you have three 4stars which make up a good team, with genie as your tank, snow white as your melee and mickey as your support. mickey is definitely one of my fav characters and i focus on leveling him up. have fun playing :)
mickey is a definite, if you don’t have a good support you won’t be able to make it through harder encounters, and mickey is the best support in the game. genie and snow white should be your other two since they’re both 4 stars. they’re both pretty good but you may come across some better options eventually. for now though- mickey, genie and snow white 100%

Snow White is arguably one of the best melee with thorns and lure along with being poison immune (even better now with Sally in the game).
Genie is a solid tank. He’s the budget version of Simba. His only downside is a lack of towers. That team will carry you for quite awhile and could be a reasonable mid/late stage main. Especially if you upgrade tanks later on.
I have a question. What makes snow so good? I pulled her 4* and feel as if she’s so mid compared to my 3* scar?
I hate her lure ability cause it undermines my only good 3* tank genie. I don’t want my melee to get targeted!
Her thorns seem to suck compared to scars wound… I just don’t see how she’s good but I am also brand new and suck.
You need to balance Genie’s lure and Snow White’s. Have them alternate timing of their lure. It’ll also work best if you use Genie to grant Snow armor so that she doesn’t take direct damage when she’s luring. But those two work great together.
Sounds weird but youll need to level them all to get the stuff you need for end game. For now, Mickey, Genie and Maleficent or Scar would be your main team. Wait until you get a few more 4s (or maybe a 5) and reevaluate. Join a guild and spend alliance crystals on summons for Goofy and Donald too, theyll be 5 star before you know it.
Honestly I missed ol Snow White down there lol. Good advice though go with her for now shes decent for sure. Scar is often a bonus x2 guardian in several dungeons so thats why I plugged him. Also Maleficient can be a pretty effective ranged for kiting and youll need her for some map missions. I agree Snow White is great, I just tend to pass her by in royalty tower for others.
As a new player, you want to build teams to tackle towers. Why towers? You earn orbs, gold, and pages for books (increasing talents). Once you 3* a tower, you earn 70 orbs. Once you are 3* all 4 towers, you are earning 280 orbs/month, which is a free famed crystal.
As others have said, build your team around Mickey, who can tackle the Leader tower. Find other leader heroes to build a Leader team and take down that tower. Two supports + melee/tank is a good start. You AI the supports and manually run the tank/melee.
Once you start getting other tower heroes (Hi-Tech, royalty, seafaring) you can build up those teams. It's a great feeling when you 3* a tower for the first time.
Don't level too many heroes starting out. You want to get your core tower teams up first. That leader tower team will probably allow you to clear plenty of story content which has orbs/crystals.
Stars are great, but once you start getting them to 5 stars (most of them), Mickey, Snow White, and Scar are OP. Mr. Incred I hear is also OP, but havent used him yet. If you get a Scrooge or Hiro, 4 or 5 star...use them in for support (even combined together). Their buffs and heals are OP.
Based on what you have there: Mickey, Genie, and Snow White. Snow isn’t the best in game, but at 4 stars with that team you’ll climb high in story mode.

2nd this. Highest star rating gets the spot on your team. Snow,Genie and Micky will carry you for awhile.

Mickey and Genie (sometimes Oogie) are on my team along with Buzz if you have him. Haven’t had any issues with the lineup so far.
