Not sure what you mean, the part that broke off is the nipple on the upper radiator hose, no way to fix it without replacing the upper radiator hose. Just happened to me. Be very careful when disconnecting from the radiator. Like gentle as possible. https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw-radiator-coolant-hose-z4-135i-335i-335xi-335i-xdrive-17127540127 it’s that little nipple on the bottom
No it’s one piece.
You could drill it out and put a brass barb but if it broke, it’s probably because the plastic is old and brittle.
The whole part needs to be replaced.
dremel is worth a shot but even the vibration might crack it. takeaway is plastic and rubber parts degrade over time and will eventually need to be replaced lol. so hope for the best but prepare for the worst.
once i got the radiator out i realized i had to replace the lower rad hose, expansion tank, and upper expansion hose bc they were so brittle. now considering replacing the remaining cooling lines since i’m in there and it’s only a matter of time before they fail also. all original cooling lines and car is 17 years old, surprised they lasted this long.
there’s plenty of videos on youtube for the upper radiator hose replacement, they all warn about this common issue. whatever method take ur time, hopefully ur one of the luck few!
Replace as many coolant hoses as you can.
If that one failed, they will all fail when you start taking things apart to replace it.
As much as it drains your bank acct, replace all your hoses (mickey mouse hose too) and your radiator.
Better to do it now then getting it done on the side of the road in the rain at midnight when more hoses inevitably fail.
Upper radiator hose, you will probably break the radiator removing it.
Can’t just buy the connector?

Ahhh, now that I looked up the part I understand.

Can confirm lol
Can double confirm - I cracked my rad trying to change these
triple confirm, my baby is up on jacks right now replacing the radiator bc i cracked it trying to replace that exact same hose
so what's the takeaway? use a dremel to cut the hose off without any prying or twisting? I have a replacement I'm waiting to install.

Replace your radiator as well basically
100% broke the radiator without using almost any force. This plastic is brittle
