This is a pretty standard and generous commission split, especially if shes providing the equipment/devices and backbar. The general rule of thumb is starting someone at a 70/30 split and moving up from there depending on performance and retention. Maybe suggest a commission split until you can fund your own facial practice if she’s open to that. You should be signing a contract for this, so make sure it’s short term - 6months or a year is a good amount of time to build enough of a client base to fund your facial practice on your own. Just be direct and up front about your intentions to avoid conflicts. Also, this kind of arrangement might not be legal where you live, so make sure it is if you’re concerned about that. You can ask a contract attorney or do some research on your own about independent contractor laws.

You’re basically renting her supplies and back bar and giving her a referral fee. I don’t see an issue with that.
