Depends on a lot of things. Are your products affected by the tariffs?

taxomate

Wouldn’t tariffs not matter though bc the buyer pays the cost to import them? Could be wrong.

Every single sale ask for a discount - they'll push back but will probably come around. Otherwise, as previously suggested, look for another supplier maybe?

np3est8x

Is your sales volume increasing? They could just be getting greedy. Get another supplier lined up then go back to the original one and say lower your prices or I’m gone.

youlovejoeDesign

Find another supplier. Force cheaper deals.

All prices of Chinese made goods have been steadily rising. It's honestly hard to find ones that aren't overpriced nowadays. They're just marking their shit up and not budging on price at all.

[deleted]

Yep! I've found prices on Ebay buying in bulk is cheaper....

[deleted]

Yeah I was trying to buy 1000 towels a few months ago (cheap thin american flag dyed towels) and they wouldn't budge below like $4 a towel. I can buy a nice bath towel at walmart for less than that lol.... Needless to say I didn't buy them.

FourSlotTo4st3r

Depends on where you're getting it from. If your supplier is in china the the dollar has gotten more valuable relative to the yuan in the past few months, if anything they should be lowering the price. If they don't budge get a new supplier.

kpetar

Negotiate, negotiate and negotiate... Their goal is to maximize their profit and how they can do it? Raise transfer prices or use a cheaper material in production. You should have a backup supplier, so you can negotiate till the end.

QueefingGilf

Check their competitors prices every month or so. If their prices are going up too then its prolly cuz of increase in demand on the raw material used for your product

BringTheJU1CE

Have 2-3 quotes from another supplier waiting to send them when they want to increase prices. They won’t won’t to lose the business

vijayarai

if you cant find another supplier then negotiate HARD and ask for better quality that can put you a notch up than your competitors.
