This is beyond awesome! You will be satisfied when you see the old pics from time to time, BTW you looked like an egyptian singer called Abou El Leef, i'm still not sure if you are not him as you were hiding your face..especially that he didn't appear much the recent years hahaha
Most of the time I workout 4x a week doing a push pull split and walk 3 miles a day and then diet has varied but at least 130g protein daily and about 1500 to 1800 calories
No I been slacking on legs I just walk a lot .
I just use resistance bands and do one set per muscle group per workout to complete failure.
It's pretty minimal but I've been able to maintain my strength and for my bodyweight exercises like pullups and pushups I've gotten a lot stronger.
Once I'm done cutting I plan on joining a full on gym and adding in leg day and doing a long term bulk. My glutes are not impressive

You can definitely do squats with bands!
I actually used kettle bell and did Bulgarian split squat and one leg hip thrust when bulking but I don't do that anymore.
But ya I just do calisthenics and bands.

The main tips would be to not lose weight too quickly! The fastest I ever lost weight in this process was 2lbs a week in the first few months

I did a bulk in the middle of this time period though that included legs and I was doing like 10 sets per week per muscle group during that time.

Were you gaining strength as lost weight?
Definitely in bodyweight exercise but my other lifts I was maintaining strength didn't really add a lot .

Mostly high protein. My macros are 25 fat 40 carbs 35 protein. And I eat about 1600 calories a day
