I live in an intown neighborhood in Atlanta on a somewhat busy street. The amount of garbage I see being thrown from cars passing by is insane. I can't think of a lazier way to say 'fuck you' than to throw your garbage out your car window so somebody else has to clean it up from their front yard.
Hah that's nothing. My dad does contract work for gdot doing right of way mowing on state highways and interstate. He literally comes home with a 18ft trailer with 7ft sides completely full every week.
Somehow I have never lost a 10 mm. I've got the original from my Sears Craftsman 3 drawer set from when I was 16. Maybe because I almost exclusively use the deep well and it's just harder to lose because of it's size.
But I've lost plenty of other sockets, including the expensive 1/4" E8 universal, and the 1/4" T30. Lost multiple 16 mm, and somehow I've lost two large Snap-On flat blade screwdrivers.
Roadside litter is such a frustrating sight. It's unfortunate how careless some people can be with our environment. Kudos to you for taking the initiative to clean up and find a small treasure amidst the mess. Hopefully, raising awareness about this issue can lead to more responsible disposal habits in our community.
My front yard constantly has beer cans and fast food wrappers thrown out on it.
We also have 3-4 accidents per year where people come around the curve too fast and run off the road.
I didn't think it is a coincidence.
It blows my mind that so many people are still drinking WHILE driving.
I think that might be my 10mm
Bro that’s mine stop tryna steel my stuff
I always wondered what the socket fairy did with all those 10mms they take from our sets at night.
I wish they'd drop one back into my toolbox
No it’s mine!!!!
Please send me my 10mm. Thank.
If you plant one in the ground it will grow more eventually.
Definitely one of mine I’m missing about 4 of them
Came here to say! This person done found the whole internets missing 10 Millie.
I’m pretty sure that’s mine.
Mystery solved. All 10mm sockets are on the side of highways and roads. Trade you 2 5mms for it.
While garbage is horrible, I couldn’t help but laugh you took a picture of the 10mm. I feel like a child laughing at that.
I had to. When I found it. I laughed because it's a 10mm. Everyboby's missing one, and here's one in the middle of nowhere.
You found the 10mm!!!!
Some mechanic is really missing that 10mm socket. Poor soul
Probably left it in the customers engine.

I haven’t seen it TOO often but I can recall twice seeing this happen near my apartment in midtown 😔
The elusive 10mm
You found a wild 10mm?! All mine have been farm raised.
give me 10mm

what, you want me to keep my empty beer bottles in the car? what if i get pulled over??
On the bright side at least it wasn’t a 9mm
Tell me about it. I had a flat tire on the way to work one time and when I pulled it off I found six different nails in it.
I frequent 441 driving from Gainesville to TN and yes, lots of mess on both sides
I have a buddy who works for the DOT and he has a 5 gallon bucket of found sockets
Thanks for cleaning up. If you’re in Milledgeville I’ll buy ya a drink.

I’ve never lost a socket, so can’t claim the 10mm. Now, I’ve lost drill and driver bits all the time.
