I looked this is up and found the following:
>DS: I need you to explain something for me. You said you're allergic to cold water? Take me through that.
>JM: Yes, I'm very allergic to cold water. So, a quick story, before we played Alabama my freshman year, I decided it would be a good idea to hop in the cold tub. I was like, "this is really cold!" I didn't know it would be that cold. I get out of the cold tub and go shower, and I'm just itching. I've got a lot of hives everywhere, and then after I get out of the shower, I end up passing out in the locker room.
>DS: Another thing you've mentioned is that you like to cook. What's your signature dish or specialty?
>JM: Ribs and mac n' cheese.
>DS: How do you go about cooking them?
>JM: I slow-cook them.
>DS: You got a secret sauce?
>JM: Yeah, a little bit.
>DS: We're not going get it out of you, are we?
>JM: No.
Really? The food gets follow-up questions, but hives and passing out don't?
My son has this issue also and the passing out is true also. If he spends some time outside hives and then he gets so tired and has to take a nap or goes to sleep for the evening. My son’s issue is bad enough that we are thinking about moving.
I just looked it up, and cold weather can also cause the same effects.
It’ll be interesting to see how much, if at all, it will affect him in the cold/winter months. As you said, take antihistamines, maybe shots, have an EPI pen, and wear warm clothes to keep him dry.
I have a real mild form of it. If I go in cold water and it’s not super warm outside that water, I get small hives on my thighs and wrists. Worse if I’m stressed, but ultimately hasn’t caused me too much issue. This version however sounds awful
My wife has an autoimmune condition and two years ago my son became “allergic to cold”. I also thought it was made up, since we live where it snows. I have never heard of something like that. He breaks out in hives if he is outside for more than 5-10 mins on any skin that is exposed. If he is exposed for a long time, he breaks out massive hives, and then his body reaction in massive fatigue. Warming him up gets the hives away, but he starts saying he’s tired, and he becomes lethargic and needs to rest to recharge. As much as I thought it was BS, it’s really not. This is going to be a problem for Jacob. We are now thinking about moving to someplace warmer to fix this. He also takes an antihistamine to prevent it, but it’s still an issue.

Lol right, no follow up to one of the more bizarre locker room stories I've ever heard. Like did he see a doctor about it atleast?
"Yeah, it was one of the scariest moments of my life" "Lol, what's your favorite food?"
And what happens when he drinks water during a cold game lmfaoo
Epi pen I guess lol I don't know it's so wild

Unrelated question, how do you think your son would do playing football in Lambeau in January?
I thought this said “you like cock”
So he can’t play in the snow… shit
You just gotta augment his helmet to have an umbrella, duh
Guardian cap confirmed?
That's actually a really good point. I wonder if that's going to give him some issues. Surely that'd be known by the team at this point, right?
If you look at my comment history, I commented in an article that covered this where he said snow is fine, he just can’t do ice baths.
But how’s his piss supposed to get hot?
Unlimited hot piss. It can never be cold!
its a cold tub issue he can drink cold water
It's called urticaria. My sister has had it most of her life and and no one ever believes her that it's real.
So is she ok to be outside in the snow?
She said "allergy meds and itchy hands, he'll be fine"
Hopefully not grabby hands, don’t need any penalties.
Specifically, it's called "cold urticaria" - my wife has it and it can be sucky

It’s the fatigue that is going to be an issue.
Urticaria is just another word for hives or a rash independent from the cause.

Bakhtiari sick to his stomach not to be able to play with him
Hot pissit is then
How does he feel about cheese?
He loves to slow cook ribs and Mac and cheese
Sounds like a Packer to me.
How is this not an automatic red flag to not draft the guy? Is it not as big of a deal as it seems?
Gute must like his hot piss upside then.
Bust smh. Fire Gute!
