Cherubs: vat grown synth creatures that look like winged babies. Was never human (iirc it is not unknown for some sick fuck in the nobility to...experiment with that point, but they don't work as well and the ones following inquisitors or space marines are definitely synths).
Also as Mechanicus game shows - Servo-Skulls retain (at least partially) their conciousness and Tech-Priests can talk with them via noosphere.
So it's quite possible that some guy has extensive talks about the Motive Force with Nikola Tesla since AdMach made him into a servo-skull.

Scarabs are good little bois. They’ll eat your enemies atom by atom, they’ll keep guard while you sleep for millennia (on top of your Doomstalkers, Seraptek Heavy Constructs, Tomb Wraiths and other large sentries) and they’ll be lovely pets. Worship the Scarabs.

Servo Skulls I don’t know much about so I can’t make a judgement yet.
T’au Drones are probably the only other option. They’ll float around and make little beeps at you while being friendly bois and doing a variety of things (I.e. marking targets and shooting mini lasers at them).

I'm generally a fan of this expanded lore on servo skulls we've seen with the aforementioned '*Outgunned*' and of course Gorgias from '*Vaults of Terra*'.
Being made a servo skull is an honour, as opposed to most other servitors. It's only fitting the AdMech keep more of the brain intact, even if it veers too close to sentience for the puritans.

The book outgunned is from the perspective of a propaganda maker with 3 servoskulls, I thought it shined a light on them that most people don't know.
