Unless I missed it - the great mystery was always why the pineapple was on his nightstand. I didn’t think that ever got solved. In this Russian promo there’s a scene with I assume to be the Russian Ted standing naked on a stage with only a pineapple covering his business.

It's extreamly hard to find. I can't even find it on russian torrent sites. There aren't even subs for this. It had only two seasons consisting of 20 episodes.
The show isn't good, actors are bad, to much copying, to low on original ideas.No wonder it was closed on first season.

The Bar is super cheap, Barney is creepy af nad my favourite scene was when ted invites robin onto the roof because you cannot not fall in love there, in this version it is an ugly balcony with a soccer ball without air and lots of old newspapers on it lol
I tried watching the British version and honesty couldn’t understand it.

I wonder how they portrayed Barney’s corporate life. Seems like a lot of the sketchy corporate activity Barney engaged in would be commonplace in Russia.
I watched the first 8 so far as well and it's just...bad. It feels like it's written for millennials by people that have only ever heard of millennials on the news. It's also incredibly predictable and at times over-acted.
Sorry you feel like that, i haven't been blown away by the writing or acting, but I think it's at least decent compared to any other recent sitcoms we've seen.
It needs a massive re-work before season 2. They have pretty much tossed all the elements of HIMYM that made it unique and kept all the ones that are just every-sitcom-ever-made.

I can get how you feel that way but I think the general audience watching the show tends to agree with sentiments similar to mine.
