They probably didn’t want to install the condenser on the shiplap siding and there’s no room around it. Anywhere else and they would have had an 80’ lineset. The ladder is probably left up there because someone routinely services it or does some sort of maintenance on the roof and doesn’t want it laying on their nice deck.
They made it work but talk about a pain in the butt to service and install, it’s hard to tell in the picture but the line set has absolutely 0 flashing around it and if you look to the left you’ll see the range hood termination foil taped to the roof 😂 and this home probably sold for over a million dollars in Atlanta GA
This is great. The location of that plumbing vent is too close to the window. When the returns draw air in through the leaky eaves and sills they can enjoy that stink pipe.
That’s called a planned escape route.
It is a good idea but poorly executed. The ladder should be longer and fixed to a pivot point so it’s fail proof because emergencies induce panic and cloud thinking.
Except from the ladder on the roof I don’t see anything wrong. What’s the problem?

Stupids gonna dumb
I’d like to see the rest of the install I’m sure I’ll giggle more 🤭
I think most people are missing the condenser on the roof..
I thought it was a chimney at first glance.
Yeah, I originally thought it was the garage door that has a platform driveway
What’s the problem? I always throw my ladder on the roof after I hang Christmas lights in June.

Wtf is that house. I can’t put it into words what I’m looking at
