At first i was all for it! Then I was at like question 15 and i was like "this is a little longer than i expected. But maybe it ends at 25 questions." Then 25 questions came. Then I thought, okay maybe at 50 it caps. Then I was at 72, and at that point I was too far nto it to stop. I was 99% sure it would stop at 100. Then it went over 100...... I almost cried. It didn't help that most of the questions were like 10 parts each.
It also didn’t help that it didn’t even tell you how close you were to the end. Like give a little status bar to let me know how close I am. 25 minutes in and I’m thinking how much longer?!? I didn’t want to quit if I was almost there. But I wasn’t 😆 still 20 more minutes 😭
It wants to make sure you're actually reading the questions instead of just randomly picking so it asks the same general question to see if you put the same general answer.
On the positive side, Hayday cares enough about its players to hire consultants to help them improve the game. On the other hand, the survey was way too long.
I did it, throughout a span of 8 hrs during work lol, it never closed when I came back to it lol....it was long but maybe they'll send something later to the ones that did do it? Fingers crossed for the package sitting outside the house lol 🤞🏾

Thats HayDay! I've cut way back on my playing to maybe twice a week. I just hate that they are so tight fisted with everything. I've been playing for at least 7yrs and just realized this past year if I don't spend money I wont get anywhere.
I am a researcher, and I was dying. Whoever created that survey does not understand how to do research properly. Survey fatigue will be the downfall of any results. There were over 110 questions all worded crazy. No presents either!!!
I've completed the survey, felt the need to. Took me 70 minutes, though. It's a good thing that developers/managers want to hear from the players. // I don't want that the answers like "we need this thing" would lead the managers to the conclusion "people need this, so we'll grab more money by selling it".
They are asking questions about the dreaded Valley, that's good, they see the problems.

I've just got rid of about 100 unwanted decorations to my farm visitors as well. It was bliss.

If a company ever asks me to take a survey, I ignore it unless it is clear I will get a guaranteed reward (not entered to win) and if that is the case, then MAYBE I will take it. I have no interest in actively going out of my way to help someone else make more money off me.

lol this bugged me too, especially since the game almost always offers some sort of incentive for doing something, or diamonds as compensation for something (like a 15 minute maintenance period).
I completed the survey, with several pauses so it took way longer than 45 minutes, but less than 8 hours lol. If they want to ask me ten times if I'm willing to pay a bunch of diamonds/money for things, I have no problem answering NO each time.

I think it’s a good thing that HayDay wants to improve the game. If you don’t want to do it then don’t. Nobody is forcing you. Why all the drama? People just want something to complain about.

Me too. I don't mind surveys if I think my responses will be read and considered, but 45 minutes is too long for questions about a mobile game.
