EDIT: Just rewatched the episode and he actually hits a speedbump which causes him to fall off the bike and clearly hit his head. Riding drunk without a helmet is badass.

Realistically falling from that height and hitting your head on concrete is totally fatal, and people die from things like this all the time. Motorcycles, while badass, are definitely death traps, even moreso when you don't wear the right gear. Plenty of people do it and don't die, but that's not strictly, solely because of their experience and "badassery", it's because life is chaotic and all you can do is influence the probability slider. Country Mac got by riding his bike without a helmet despite the odds until eventually he didn't.

I think what happened was the jump from the bridge killed him. He was walking around with a concussion or detached brain or something crazy like that and he finally succumbed to it.

This breaks downs Macs walls and gives Dennis even more control, while also creating the 'I loved CM, I woild never do anything to hurt him' Alibi.
Once CM dies, Dennis can then go to the now vulnerable Mac with even more control. Size pills and all that good stuff. Remember Dennis has complete control over the gang, and if mantaining control requires a murder or two, why not. Country Mac was slowly gaining pull within the group, a dictator like Dennis vouldnt simply watch the dynamic change. I woudlnt even be surprised if he had tricked Charlie into helping, sweet innocent Charlie, didnt even know what he was doing.
