If you are interested in their financial performance then opening their financial statements would be the way to go. My personal investment return from my mutual fund at HDFC has no bearing on their financial performance other than if it's an HDFC fund and they collect an asset management fee. Ratio analysis of their financial statements is the way to go
Given this is a poorly designed survey, the reliability of results will be questionable.
Most such surveys for students' master thesis are based on self generated fake data since not many will take their time out to fill it without any incentive.
It is poorly designed as it's his first time doing this research thingy and also his college didn't provide him any proper instructions on how to conduct it and the time alloted for this research is two and a half week. And also, Yes you can easily fake the data if it is about broader topic but sometimes with niche topics like this it is harder if you don't possess enough knowledge but still it can be faked so you can't do anything about it or prove that u didn't faked it.
These are pretty reliable if your target audience is specified and has some knowledge about the topic, but then again if someone is not familiar with the topic and answers the questionnaire it does ruin the studies as you cannot prove your hypothesis.
Btw this is my friend's study as he doesn't know how to use reddit so I posted it on his behalf
I don't prefer HDFC, never will
Their netbanking is horrible compared to ICICI
Their staff have no clue about anything going on in their bank and give you random information with full confidence
Took them 9 months to approve a credit card for a salary account and I can't even activate it because their payzapp app is stuck in a loop of failed OTP timeouts
I swear to God the bank is going to loose all their customers in the next decade, especially once they start cutting down on credit card benefits
Ohh don't get me started on the spam, those mofos will send you a million mail's asking if you want a loan for 25k and then they tell you that you have a pre approved credit card and then after you apply they decline it without any explanation
Please let your friend include in their report that
"Customer found SBI to be on par if not better than HDFC in almost every aspect"

Yes my friend has studied that but their college has asked to add questionnaire, he has those reports and stuff
Asking just out of curiosity, how reliable are studies based on such forms?

Got it, thanks.
Half of the questions in the questionnaire don't even relate to the data that is required.
Watch a video on how to create a questionnaire

HDFC Bank? Nah, I stick to crab money! 🦀 I prefer to store my savings in a crab-shaped piggy bank. It's more secure, trust me! 🤣 #CrabbyFinance

Yeah I hate them too they are way too pushy about selling their loans but for the sake of the friend's project I had to post it
