Akshara Naitik(absolutely non problematic, stayed together till the end, always had each other's backs, Naitik never left Akshara alone, never remarried after her death) some of my personal favs - Neil Khanna, Avni; Shivaay Anika(after that initial disgusting track, they never left each other's side); Nisha Kabir from Nisha aur Uske Cousins.
Akshara Naitik definitely had a good story, the whole arranged marriage concept was written well & how they slowly understood eo.
But I don't know if they were completely unproblematic, esp Naitik in the beginning phase, had issues. He was angry on Akshara for liking the other guy before him.
But yes, overall they had a good story.
Arjun and arohi from kitni mohabbat hai had one of the best love story and their paring was compatible too. I don’t remember second season much but 1st season was so good
Arjun was never abusive. He did not like any woman and didn't want to engage with her. Laer he had the best redemption arc i have ever seen any male lead in itv have. He literally sacrificed his everything just to see her succeed
I believe Arjun was abusive to all women (not trying to justify him) not just arohi in that show due to his father misleading him about his mother and the reason of their divorce.😂 lmao I think that crying female leads are a criteria of serials
I tried ishqbaaz but due to the heavy jewellery and makeup plus overacting I couldn't watch anymore.....previously I used to hate Gul khan for giving Khushi that pompom and choti look....but after watching ishqbaaz I sighed with relief that ipkknd was way better
Good actors can conjure chemistry to some extent. But sometimes it's just natural. Two people are just in sync. For eg in Kundali Bhagya the writers are promoting the FL's chemistry hard with the ML. But unfortunately she has better chemistry with his spoiled badboy twin brother. Their nok jhoks were more lively and spicy. So they had to include a molestation scene to make the bad twin evil and nip the relationship in the bud.

There were multiple tropes used and it always felt realistic (except the sauteli maa ki kidnapping and iirc the guy Suman was gonna marry turned out to be Shravan's step-brother). Upar se the story was well written and the show ended without much stretching. I did feel bad when it ended but now that I look back I feel it was perfect for it to end soon so that it doesn't become a YRKKH on Sony
Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki. It had Sharad Malhotra and Kratika Sengar as main leads Rishi-Tanu/Tanuja. It did lose its plot after a while but still managed to do well story wise compared to other Balaji shows

Ram and Priya from Bade ache lagte hai. They trusted each other so much. When ram saw Priya with peehu after years He knew Pihu was his daughter never questioned Priya never asked her if she was his daughter or not. He saw her and accepted her as his daughter immediately. That much trust he had on Priya❤️one of the best lovestory on Itv

He trusted her before he realised he loved her.
Love story and chemistry are different things, IMO people conflate the two, chemistry is purely physical, love story is actually meaningful.
So best love stories would be Anurag Tani (Taanu), they loved eo so much, and Anurag was such a green flag, even when he thought that Taani was with him for money, he wished her good luck and asked her to move on (which is something only FLs do) and not to mention dude faked being a mental patient for years so that Taani could stay happily married.
Also Maaneet, Maan Singh Khurana, was one of the best MLs esp when it comes to GulKhan. He's arrogant, and a snob BUT he'd very clear moral code of his own, which he would never cross, no matter what the situation is. That's something so amazing. People often give excuses for abusive behavior but that's BS IMO.
Now coming to raw chemistry, Adiya from bepanah, Arnav khushi, Armaan riddhi (first), and kinda recently Fatejo (horrible story, but physically HOT)
Na Bole tum na maine kuch kaha - widowed women with a Kid and a young carefree guy. Pretty heartwarming show.
Gulaal - Kesar and Gulaal had a very different story.
For me it was Viren-Jeevika and a decade after I still like their chemistry and understanding... Then there was Anant-Nayva who imo deserved more hype for being the rock to each other and they matured together while being in love
Arjun Arohi had a very fairytalish show due to the whole tragic poetry type angle. Also Arjun had the meatiest well written redemption arc.
Abhay Piya were great as they had fabulous chemistry and never really stopped standing up for each other and always prioritised each other.
Samrat Gunjan was the cutest friends to lovers and Samrat was such a green flag did not ever even talk to her in angry tone.
Jodha Akbar has the best forced marriage hatred to lover track,fiery chemistry and best domestic scenes. Not to mention very aesthetic
I haven't watched many serials but I got really into Aapke aa Jaane Se a few years back and loved Vedika and Sahil. It was refreshing to see a couple with an age difference where the woman is older. I find all the men in the serials I watch now to be below average and yet the women seem to worship them (TMD, GHKKPM, YRKKH).
One more serial i remember is pratigya. Krishna and pratigya as a couple were so good. Though it was forced marriage and toxic at start but after that each and every Time Krishna stood beside pratigya like rock.

After the marriage, he did all that for a few episodes and then Khushi got back at him pretty soon and she made him suffer. This is enemies to lovers.
Chemistry doesn't mean good love story. In FaTejo in udaariyaan had fiery chemistry, one of the best, but the track and storyline is just disgusting.
No the story was intriguing and done well. I recommend watching IPKKND.
