We have had electric blankets but they get too hot and tangle easily, aren’t easily washed, etc. with this dog bed, the heating part can be removed and the rest washed.

We use a clamp on light with a heat bulb in it above their bed. Just make sure the base of the lamp is ceramic so it isn’t a fire hazard.
