Your door is either bent at the top or your hinges are bent

Role the window down, put your knee into the interior panel, pull the top of the door frame back slightly. Some may have better advice, but that's what I had to do with mine and it worked well.

so bend the door back? Lol

Ended up shoving a piece of nylon rope in the seal to push the seal out further to seal the door, seems to work fine no sunlight coming in. And door slamming, probably will go away once the seal is broken in

A few of my trim pieces on the inside aren’t in great shape. So I don’t want to tear them apart anymore than I already did. I broke a piece of trim when installing the seal

Check your hinges where they connect to the frame. They're a known weak spot for the XJs.

Could be one of three things. - Something is tweaked (bent) - You didn't press the seal in all the way. This is a problem especially in the corners. Make sure the seal is set all the way. - You have a 96 and older and you bought the 97 and newer seal. The 97 and newer seal is thicker.

It’s a 2000, I think the door is bent. I pressed the seal in as best as I can. I put a piece of nylon rope in the seal to push it out further to actually seal the door
