##Welcome to r/LateStageCapitalism
This subreddit is for news, discussion, memes, and links criticizing capitalism and advancing viewpoints that challenge liberal capitalist ideology. That means any support for any liberal capitalist political party (like the Democrats) is strictly prohibited.
LSC is run by communists. This subreddit is not the place to debate socialism. We allow good-faith questions and education but are not a 101 sub; please take 101-style questions elsewhere.
We have a zero-tolerance policy for bigotry. Failure to respect the rules of the subreddit may result in a ban.

"What's that? Someone's set you on fire? Don't get unnecessarily stressed or upset. Just go with it. Life is all about adjusting to new situations. Stay home and quietly burn to death. It's fine. Think of the savings you'll make on your next heating bill!"
"Instead of worrying about prices going up, accept reality and focus on increasing your own income and net worth."
This translates roughly to "Unionize and demand pay increases which outpace inflation."
I had one of finance subs appear on my feed and stupidly looked at the comments section and it was full of exactly this shit. I said that a normal job should pay you a wage that you can live comfortably and have the odd treat like food out, and the responses where calling me deluded for wanting to spend $600 a month on Starbucks? First of all I don’t have $600, and I sure as shit wouldn’t buy from Starbucks either.

My goodness what an idea, [why didn’t I think of that?!??](https://youtu.be/BOEYSLlQy9s?si=eJHz9kKMEVKBKIHv)
Wait, we shouldn't be trying to be poor? What a novel idea. Who knew it was that easy?
Fresh and fit mathematics
"Are you getting fucked? JUST BE HAPPY ABOUT IT AND MAGICALLY BECOME RICH!" Dude, that's fucking impossible.
