I've always thought it was weird how people wanna means test giving a dollar to a homeless person. "What if they spend it on heroin!!??"
Yeah, what if? Who cares lmao. That's 30 min they won't have to deal with the harsh reality of being homeless in an uncaring world
We are also paying to be treated like the enemy by our own government.
The Patriot Act did this. They just renewed FISA also. There's always some excuse about it helping national security, but it looks more like it's securing unjust hierarchy.
One is them is a self choice. Other is a mandatory taxation. If they literally had a choice to directly influence military investment, am sure many would vote no. There’s no political party that wants to reduce military spending. It’s ingrained and taken for granted.

Because the money given to fund the military, domestically as well as abroad, reaches where they want it to reach - Lockheed, Boeing, Northrop, GE...
