> Removing the Bell Breakfast Box is the absolute worst thing to happen (related to Taco Bell) in 2024 so far.
Definitely. It was the best value in breakfast.
I fear those won't be brought back, considering how many menu items TB has eliminated. And they were also stupid enough to briefly eliminate potatoes, before a big outcry from customers helped to successfully encourageĀ TB to bring them back. But who knows? I hope one day, TB brings green onions back.
Does anyone actually ever have the Cinnabon coffee at their local TBell? Mine is always out.
ETA: jealous of anyone who's gotten to have it. only one Taco Bell by me even serves breakfast nowadays and they've got "coffee machine broke" syndrome.
One of the TB nearby me is the best one Iāve ever been to. Theyāre never out of anything, the employees are fantastic, and they never fuck up my order. Itās the only one Iāve ever been able to try the Cinnabon coffee at. It is WAY too sweet for me but it has a good flavor.
As if prices arenāt high enough already in ā24. Theyāre asking for $6 for a regular-ass burrito. $7 for a quesadilla. And now theyāre talking about āstrategically raising pricesā further next year? Fuck off, Taco Bell.
Yeah, I'm likely out when this happens. I've been a fan / customer of TB for over 20 years, but they're pricing themselves out of their own market. My habits are already changing; any price increase will seal the deal.
Please just join me in boycotting now. They wont stop raising prices until we stop paying. Weāll ānormalizeā lower sales by āmodifying our behaviorā.
Idk what thatās supposed to mean in reality. Theyāve been āstrategically raising pricesā forever. Even this year, the cantina taco already increased in price since the beginning of early access.
The only way things will change is if people stop buying stuff and if thereās an outcry on social media unfortunately.Ā
The idea of just putting up with whatever happens to us or leaving without complaining is really shortsighted. Nothing would ever change that way and just like thereās nothing wrong with calling out the good, thereās also nothing wrong with calling out the bad.Ā
Well their revenue is at a high but yeah, itās disheartening. However, it wouldnāt be the first time a company has made changes like this to cater to short-term growth at the expense of long-term growth. It happens and usually when the companies end up cratering, itās because theyāve driven away the majority of their customers. Right now, revenue is up because a single visit there makes them more money than it used to. But I know Iām going there a lot less than I used to and Iāve seen other people say the same. Over time, more and more people will begin going there less and less. Theyāll lose their big fan base who helps their sales through word of mouth, social media posting, etc. Those people will slowly find other places they like and evangelize those over Taco Bell. Eventually revenue drops because thereās less people going there less and less times until the bottom drops out. Maybe it wonāt happen. We donāt know. But itās definitely happened plenty of times before.Ā
I donāt think people should be told to shut up or leave though. Weāre all here because we like Taco Bell, we donāt want to see this happen, and itās nice to commiserate with others who know how we feel. Ā But by following your own advice, when you see people saying things you disagree with on here, you should just leave.Ā
It seems like when people call out taco bell for the prices being abysmal on instagram or Twitter in the comments sections, nothing really happens. I'm not sure if people will boycott taco bell high prices though, even though I've thought about it. There are just too many good items.
So glad Pico is back!
Also, I do understand the upcharge for the Avocado Verde sauce packets after getting one with my taco yesterday. They're significantly larger than the regular sauce packets (like 2x-3x the size) and apparently need to be refrigerated. I also though it was pretty good, but 20 cents is a little much though. Then again, all of Taco Bell is getting way too damn expensive for what it is.
Didn't include it in the post above but,
Restaurant Specific pricing recommendation calls for:
* The Cantina Burrito to be a $0.20 upgrade from the Chicken Burrito Supreme
* The Cantina Chicken Power Bowl to be +$1 from what the Chicken Power Bowl was.
* The Quesadilla Meal to be +$1.70 to the Chicken Quesadilla Combo
Why is it "reccomended", these greedy franchises are ruining the brands. You should "reccomend" they run at the set price, or "reccomend" suspension of thier franchise locations. Period.
I'm still annoyed they eliminated the Quesarito from from the TB app. So much for me downloading that, when I can't order that anymore. Supposedly there is some ordering hack with the 5 layer burrito, where to some limited extent it mimics a Quesarito. Might try that sometime. Had been going to TB less as it is, since the menu cuts around 2019-21.
I've bought a breakfast box nearly once a week. One of the main reasons I go to Taco Bell, especially since their food is getting so expensive. Taco Bell just lost out on a lot of my business.
I know I'm just one person and my business doesn't mean a lot, but I'm incredibly disappointed.
I think the closest thing to getting that is getting the new burrito, replace chicken with black beans, and add guacamole and possibly removing pico and purple cabbage if that's not your thing.
Nah, that cantina taco is better than any single item in the cravings box. For $5 Iāll choose the taco discovery box every time. But I know it wonāt be just $5 at any location near me lol.
Yeah I would be there every Tuesday if it was actually $5 for me but I don't see it landing at less that $7 (which would still be solid enough to grab a few times) and realistically I'm expecting $9
Taco Bell has truly lost their mind lol. I used to get taco bell because it was cheap and i couldnt regularly afford $8-$10 burritos at my local taqueria's. Now they are priced the same yet Taco bell is 3/8th the size. Also CHARGING for sauce packets? LOL. The greed is off the charts at this point
Now that pico is back, I'd like to see some suggestions to recreate the grilled stuft burrito.
Here's what I've got:
Cheesy double beef burrito
Remove fiesta strips and nacho cheese
Add beans, pico, spicy ranch, and avocado ranch
Get it grilled.
Now, I know this is for a smaller burrito. If anyone knows a way to not get the grilled cheese on the grilled cheese burrito, I feel like that't be a better place to start.
Thatās what Iāve been trying to do! Ā GSB was my favorite item on the menu for years, always the best value for a substantial amount of food too. Ā Now with pico back, I have been coming close to the original while messing around with different combos but you know if they ever did come back out with it officially theyād charge like 15 bucks lmao.Ā
Noticed that the Classic Combo is missing from my app. Is that gone now? I was able to add it from my order history but I donāt see it on the menu anywhere.
Edit: actually, I can add it but it errors out when I attempt to checkout. Bummer!
You got rid of what Everyone wants - Shredded Chicken.
You got rid of Grillers
You ditched almost every Vegetarian option.
You have Pico back, and No MEXIMELT?
You Are Stupid Taco Bell Corporate.
ANY QUESTIONS???
I'm happy for those of you that have been wanting this cantina menu, but it is not for me so I will just sit this experience out. I can still get Mexican pizza and chalupa and other things so it's not the worst I just won't have a good value box with a limited edition item.
I'm just not into a whole salad being on my burrito or in a bowl. I just need meat cheese beans sour cream and a few tomatoes and I'm happy lol.
But enjoy all of you that have been waiting for this! See you in E4! Smile7
Despite having DashPass, I'm seeing the $5/20 coupon instead of the $8/20 coupon for some reason.
Also the GCB Deluxe box is a great deal.
Remix the GCB to have the cantina chicken for maximum justice.
I'm so bored with this experience. Where I live, the cantina chicken items have been on the menu for months. Even when other experiences were happening and we got those items, we still had all the cantina items. Now it's a "new experience" and I got nothing new, just items taken away. Ugh.
Yes I know different regions get different test items and all that. I'm just bored. Already looking forward to the next one.
Went to get that $1 Mexican Pizza today (to which - I'm glad this one apparently wasn't limited to the first 30k or whatever) and went to checkout without copying the code, thought I fucked up big time for a second, but if it happens to anyone else, you can just go back out and get the code again.
Not sure how I feel about the app redesign though. I don't dislike it but I don't think it's much better. Maybe it'll grow on me idk.
I love that pico is back so I can make things āfrescoā the way it should be, before they dumbed it down to just tomato, and also so I could build a grilled stuffed burrito again. Ā Other than that, this experience sucks along with the last one and the one before that and the one before that. Ā They need to wake up and just make the volcano menu permanent. Ā I know so many people who only consistently ate tbell when volcano was around. When they brought it back last year, It was the first time in years I really looked forward to getting t bell again and wasnāt just getting it out of convenience or lack of ideas.Ā
Tried the Cantina Chicken Burrito today. Regret. Smaller than the Cheesy Double Beef Burrito I got as well, and was nowhere near worth the price difference between the two for its taste.
I decided to pick up one of the crispy cantina tacos. Thing was literally encased in cheese. It was like someone poured an entire 16oz bag of cheese on it and nuked it. The cheese was all I could taste.
Everytime I go to order via the app I basically get talked out of ordering. Idk how they get away with charging more for less food than authentic Mexican jointsā¦ only worth it if you have a reward going & get A cravings box
I have to ask, at what point do we just call a burrito a wrap... With the exception of it being closed fold, the cantina burrito is pretty much just a wrap, right? They couldn't even bother to put rice in this thing.
I had a burrito and two tacos today. I actually thought I was opening a taco because the burrito was so flat and small. Chickenās good but these prices are nuts
Goodbye crispanada, ye will not be missed. Honestly would have preferred the meat canoe or triple double anything over that piece of crap.
All prices aside this experience looks promising. I'm all about bringing back pico and Verde sauce.Ā
Removing the bell breakfast box and charging for verde packets sucks ass
Removing the Bell Breakfast Box is the absolute worst thing to happen (related to Taco Bell) in 2024 so far. The biggest positive....pico is back.
> Removing the Bell Breakfast Box is the absolute worst thing to happen (related to Taco Bell) in 2024 so far. Definitely. It was the best value in breakfast.
Dumb that fresco style is still just tomatoes though š”
do you think weāll ever get green onions back? it feels like over 10 years since we had them

Yesss it was delish
Nope.

I had it unfortunately, I thought it was terrible.
Strategically raising prices in ā25? Fuck Taco Bell and Yum Brands
As if prices arenāt high enough already in ā24. Theyāre asking for $6 for a regular-ass burrito. $7 for a quesadilla. And now theyāre talking about āstrategically raising pricesā further next year? Fuck off, Taco Bell.
"Try our new $5 an item Value Menu!"
Please stop eating TB. It is the only way they will change.
Yeah, I'm likely out when this happens. I've been a fan / customer of TB for over 20 years, but they're pricing themselves out of their own market. My habits are already changing; any price increase will seal the deal.

Yeah, I havenāt been buying as much TB in 24 as I had in 23.
Nobody in the US is eating KFC or Pizza Hut anymore so they got to gouge Taco Bell customers to try to make up the difference.
Just eat somewhere else if you don't like the price
The only way things will change is if people stop buying stuff and if thereās an outcry on social media unfortunately.Ā The idea of just putting up with whatever happens to us or leaving without complaining is really shortsighted. this is how redditors think prices work lmao
Correct and their sales are at an all time high. Nothing is going to motivate them to underprice to demand.
Well their revenue is at a high but yeah, itās disheartening. However, it wouldnāt be the first time a company has made changes like this to cater to short-term growth at the expense of long-term growth. Chips and Guac for $2.99 is nuts considering a side of Guac is $0.45. Youāre paying $2.54 for the little side of chips.
And if Iām not mistaken, you can order a side of chips alone in person for $0.80 or so. Hopefully a current employee can confirm.
So glad Pico is back! Also, I do understand the upcharge for the Avocado Verde sauce packets after getting one with my taco yesterday. That 5.99 for the cantina burrito is a damn straight ass lie. 7 bucks where I am.
Just looked mine up. 7.19 for the burrito, 7.49 for the quesadilla, 9.59 for the Power bowl. Outrageous.
Didn't include it in the post above but, Restaurant Specific pricing recommendation calls for: * The Cantina Burrito to be a $0.20 upgrade from the Chicken Burrito Supreme * The Cantina Chicken Power Bowl to be +$1 from what the Chicken Power Bowl was. * The Quesadilla Meal to be +$1.70 to the Chicken Quesadilla Combo

Thanks. I hate it.
The removal of the Breakfast Box is the removal of my money going to taco bell
Thought about getting breakfast today - checked the app and it was gone. I did not end up getting Taco Bell today.
Same story with me. And with TB planning price increases across the board in 2025ā¦ yikes. Good luck YUM Brands
I'm still annoyed they eliminated the Quesarito from from the TB app. So much for me downloading that, when I can't order that anymore. As a vegetarian.....woopty doo! Another slap in the face after taking away our VFB
Not the same but... cheesy bean and rice burrito, add pico and lettuce sub black beans. my go to for a while other than potato stuff
I think the closest thing to getting that is getting the new burrito, replace chicken with black beans, and add guacamole and possibly removing pico and purple cabbage if that's not your thing.
While I appreciate the advice, I'm not paying 6.84 for a burrito that was $2.00
I don't blame you
Here for the **Taco Discovery Box ($5)**Ā
Yeah, this seems like a great deal, and full of stuff I get anyway.
3 tacos and drink for $5 isnāt bad but itās also not $5 cravings box good either.
Nah, that cantina taco is better than any single item in the cravings box. For $5 Iāll choose the taco discovery box every time. But I know it wonāt be just $5 at any location near me lol.
^^ This.
Yeah I would be there every Tuesday if it was actually $5 for me but I don't see it landing at less that $7 (which would still be solid enough to grab a few times) and realistically I'm expecting $9
$7 for a quesadilla? Charging for sauce packets? Itās sad to see how far things continue to fall
Charging for sauce packets, is a McDonald's style low for TB to do. Ugh, since they should NOT be emulating McDonald's!
Now that pico is back, I'd like to see some suggestions to recreate the grilled stuft burrito. I've successfully asked at the drive through for them not to do the cheese on the outside before. I hate the greasy burrito trend.

I mean I like the cantina chicken, but I'm not getting it again. $7 for a fast food burrito is outside my price range.
You got rid of what Everyone wants - Shredded Chicken. You got rid of Grillers You ditched almost every Vegetarian option. You have Pico back, and No MEXIMELT? You Are Stupid Taco Bell Corporate. ANY QUESTIONS???
Tell your YUM Overlords to, DIE IN HELL.
How hard, was it, to keep the 7-layer burrito on the menu? I REPEAT: Die IN HELL YUM BRANDS!
$8 for the new bowl is insane. Also they removed the veggie options which was like 50c cheaper for me since I'm veggie
I gotta say that I enjoy the new cantina chicken but all the items are way too pricey. I probably wonāt buy anymore.
The last thing I bothered to go for, the breakfast box, gone. Good luck TB.
Really sad they got rid of the breakfast box. I was really craving some Taco Bell breakfast, but I'm gonna head to McDonalds or BK instead now.
Will have to place 2 separate orders on 4/9 if wanting a $1 Chalupa in addition to buy 1 get 1 half-off burritos.
I'm happy for those of you that have been wanting this cantina menu, but it is not for me so I will just sit this experience out. any updates on E4 items? website is a bit vague
Update for E4?
E3 is over on the east coastā¦time for e4 mega thread?
