fix your posture. legs and core work out. take collagen and biotin.

italianboy157

Change your clothing style. You don't need to expose yourself to be feminine. Anyway, I hope it's not too much of a hassle, but I'll give you some other beauty tips: 1- Do skincare 2- Drink plenty of water to avoid fluid retention 3- Go to the gym to shape your body in a more feminine way 4- Change your clothing style (I can't go into too much as it depends on the impression you want to make) That's it, constantly try to maximize your appearance in a healthy way :)

JeanJomas

Nitpick: the most important part of fluid retention is minimizing salt (Na) intake, not water per se, so check your salt intake if possible. There’s no real guideline (in the aesthetic sense) as to how much you should aim for, but 3g of salt per day is a good aiming point for almost all people.

italianboy157

Thanks for complementing my answer bro

KeyDiscussion5671

Give thought to having your makeup done professionally once. You’ll be able to use the guidance and you’ll never look masculine again!

fermelebouche

Pretend you’re a femanina.

SansLucidity

makeup & wear feminine clothing

AnybodyImpossible546

hairstyle with lots of volume, gua sha and curl lashes

NoCamera1611

I’ve heard of gua sha, i thought it was one of those bs things from the internet, does it work?

AnybodyImpossible546

It does work, i’ve been using that and a jade roller with some ice and my face has never been more sculpted and feminine looking

NoCamera1611

nice, thanks!

Avraham_Levy

Tighter clothing, less of a dead look in your eyes and maybe do something with the hair. Also talk to a therapist

NoCamera1611

Bold of you to assume that I can afford therapy

Glass_Number_1707

Dress like a female. Fix your hair and face like a female. That would be a good start.

[deleted]

You have a cute face. Maybe wear a tank top to show your figure if you are comfortable with it

Educational-War-6762

🤷‍♀️

ChelseaSmiles40li

Now that we can see your face, I think you have a very pretty face shape and your lips are amazing. I wish my lips were as plump as yours. I would say to try and wear a tank top with a looser shirt over it, like a long sleeve that falls off the shoulder but your body’s still fully covered by the tank top. I don’t know how to post pictures on here but let me see if I can try to so you can see what I mean.

ChelseaSmiles40li

Something like this but with a longer shirt and a thicker tank top strap. It’s really comfortable. https://i.etsystatic.com/16866643/r/il/429ad1/3709951307/il_570xN.3709951307_af1t.jpg

witblacktype

Your wardrobe isn’t doing you any favors either.

ScienceInMI

First, if you're concerned about guys being interested... Don't sweat it. You're fine and exactly somebody's cup of tea. If you want to attract a CERTAIN kind of somebody, choose a look (scene, Goth, emo, whatever y'all got these days ... Sorry, GenX 😜) and run with that. Easy to fit in and, these days, easy to find the clothes. If you really just want "feminine" -- uhhhh.... Like, "Cosmopolitan" magazine feminine? Well, then, do what they do ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Generically more American feminine: Tone up. You're not fat but I'd hold the weight there IYKWIM. Glasses. Get something different. Color. The black square framed glasses are called "B.C. Glasses" in the Army. Birth Control Glasses. Zenni.com has lots for cheap $7 and up frames AND PRESCRIPTION LENSES +$5 shipping PER ORDER so save if you order 3 pair together vs different days. (Get Rx from your Dr office ... They're required to tell you. Just write the numbers OD, OS, sphere, prism, add, PD... GET THE PUPILLARY DISTANCE but it's about 62-64 for American women) Your mom's shirt. That helped. A lot. It shows your feminine curves and it follows your arms with snug fabric. Don't try to hide your weight. You're fine. And the color helps. Brighter. Not black. Usually. Hair: You've got some!!! Wear it down for feminine. Bring it forward a bit if you'd like. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON'T CUT BANGS IN!!! Bobby pins if necessary!!! Accessories can be fun -- scarfs, kerchiefs, ribbons, etc -- age appropriate, though. Makeup: I mean, I'm not a fan as a guy. It tastes like crap and smudges on me if wife wears it. But I USED to wear eyeliner in college. Light eye shadow is fun. Lip gloss. But your skin is good. Your choice. Jewelry: Again, totally your choice. I hate chunky statement jewelry but some people think that's what shows women are women. Dr Frankenfurter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show wears a pearl necklace as a feminine statement (Tim Curry definitely has a look in that film!!!). Mani/Pedi: clean, trimmed. Color if you want BUT NEVER CHIPPED OR GROWN OUT. yuck. And PLEASE don't get fake nails. I mean, it screams "I AM A WOMAN SEEKING APPROVAL!!!" but I don't think of it as feminine. Personal choice. But you're fine as-is as a human and you'll certainly get interest and dates. ☮️❤️♾️

NoCamera1611

This is all pretty helpful thanks! I actually was emo for a short period of time, I tend not to think about that. I don’t have much jewellery apart from small earrings so I’ll look into something with pearls, I like that idea. And also the glasses, I probably need an updated prescription anyway so I’ll try and figure out a style I want. Thank you again!

NowhereMan305

I really like the last pic, not masculine at all!

redwilldraw

Try to add layers in your hair and not look so aggressive when taking pictures. When you put your hair up, let a few pieces of strands “fall out” like [this](https://www.instagram.com/p/B_YttfgHlK-/?igsh=MXZicjk5dmV2OHpyaA==). When you have it in a slick back, it looks very “masculine.” Have you ever tried bangs? Very soft/wispy bangs look super feminine. If you don’t want to commit to a haircut just yet, you can [buy](https://www.amazon.com/Clip-Bangs-Extensions-Temples-Hairpieces/dp/B0B6VNTNVM/ref=sr_1_6?crid=1D18PIB9F32RE&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.fxSC1lnqU3SYgECI4f_Y5R9EEa9PWKUk4D_6B-mRXfsQbgk3y_S2g5gvPGnmn-ln0xxAifXpXWAhZIIY3Np-2UgGd-IkNU0Xjq3Zr_gbu7nic-ye4HyB4DW81Tbu8aB7Un24uhV7HLfxHfsyupcTj_c0HIieWzeOpnHAHJ8CvYz28VodtyVvS55yJLDKCJ0p1aNLHVAnfnVbiFw7kqrl37pU_zUWNYOwJSzU0SV16YwMy9PGrSBhAXOS_jZil1Jr6RAryRNpdqeTWmL8sBiDVHYmCQsPi5YwAbBEGqb0xkI.dtb2Ruy9fiFy3GrCEtLc5XeVuxbOhpG-2ugQzK7W2xs&dib_tag=se&keywords=Wispy+bangs&qid=1719768279&sprefix=wispy+bang%2Caps%2C110&sr=8-6) clip on bangs but make sure they are soft. If you can, I would recommend tinting your eyebrows a bit to give them more color. You can get it done at a beauty school for like $12. You look very pretty, I would suggest enhancing your already natural features. I don’t think you look masculine, you just seem to lack a direction in your style/aesthetic

Start wearing more summer dresses,is the season for it

NoCamera1611

I have worn a dress once in my life and did not like it, but I’ll see if I can find one I feel comfortable in

Gil12245

I should thank you for taking the time of your day for replying to my text :)

Makeup can even make guys with beards look like women.

NoCamera1611

make up confuses me, idk where I’d even start or what to use

Zealousideal_Fan3413

for beginners i would say look at people like sabrina carpenter or cindy kimberly or madison beer as they have makeup styles that will increase your natural beauty . the keys to makeup are a smooth base , well shaped brows , draw attention to the lips and enhance the eyes . for a beginner your base can be your skincare routine then primer this will help it last i recommend elf products not just the primer but most of their stuff is really good and cheap .then a skin tint or tinted moisturiser or cc cream (i don’t like foundation personally as it’s fuller coverage and not as natural).this help make your skin an even tone . place concealer on spots of dark areas like under eyes (concealer should always be one shade lighter than your skin .then bronzer ( or contour but contour is harder to use in my opinion ) this will add depth to your face giving shadows so you can use this on your nose to shape it and just to add warmth to your face and enhance your facial structure like cheek bones .next is blush add to your cheeks (optional nose /chin ) . i don’t but i know some people love nose highlighter . translucent powder can set your base to make it last longer and can make your makeup crease less so put it on your under eyes . last step is setting spray this will make your makeup last and makes it transfer proof . -for your eyes you can just add bronzer to the outer corners or blush over the lid for colour . this can also enhance their shape .some highlighter on the inner corners and mascara. i forgot because i don’t need to but you will have to curl your lashes aswell with a lash curler . i don’t because my lashes are curly because of genetics . -for brows i just like to brush them in a shape i like with brow glue and you can decide if you want to make them look more full with a brow pencil. by creating hair like strokes. (you can do brows before your base or after i like to do it before ) -for lips just depends on your aesthetic because im darker skinned i need a lip liner and gloss or lip tint aswell . but you could probably just use a lip tint , gloss even lipstick on its own but i do think lip liner enhances the lip shape making them look fuller . if your struggling between matte lip and glossy lip . there’s a quote from gossip girl “gloss is more fun but lipstick lasts longer “. JUST TO BE CLEAR THIS MY ADVICE AND WHAT I WOULD FO FOR A NATURAL LOOK OR ADVICE I WOULD GIVE TO A FIRST TIMER . if it’s for school i would cut steps like highlighter or lip liner just gloss or lip balm . i would do just small dots of concealer . i usually just brush my brows don’t fill them in. at the end of the day it takes practise and preference learning what you like on your face .MAKEUP SHOULD ENHANCE YOUR BEAUTY NOT DIMINISH YOUR SELF ESTEEM. just brushing your brows and a lip tint and mascara can be just as good as a full face with lashes .

NoCamera1611

Thanks, this is super helpful, I didn’t know tinted moisturiser was a thing! I have quite sensitive skin though, and I’m a little worried about products making me break out, do you know of any products for sensitive skin?

Zealousideal_Fan3413

the makeup i’m using hasn’t broke me out but it’s a bit pricy i can say brand names i use and used to use . but i recommend reading reviews and watching youtube videos before buying product . if you have sensitive skin you definitely need to have a primer so there’s a barrier between your makeup and your skin . clean brushes regularly aswell i use any soap mixed with cooking oil then rinse with water . always wash your hands before your makeup aswell it’s sounds obvious but easy to forget . -elf primer i used to use a primark primer it was a good bobbi brown dupe - rare beauty blush i used to use maxi blush by rimmel -fenty skin tint , concealer , bronzer (powder and cream) i used to use maybelline concealer has a sponge applicator you can twist and revolutionary bronzer/highlighter -charlotte tilbury setting spray i’ve heard good things about elf and nyx - clinique pressed powder and loose that’s my main but i did use the wet n wild pressed powder to powder my face to get rid of shine at school -brows are harder for you to get any skin irritation so you should be fine to just go for anything but i do swear by the nyx felt tip brow pen there’s a decent shade range aswell i get a dark brown because i feel like really dark colours like black makes your brows look you did it with sharpie and we won’t to look soft so you don’t want your brows to be too dark also the nyx brow gel but you could use soap aswell i would say don’t do soap brows but create a nice shape you like then draw hairs filling in gaps between hairs . i hate a block brow so i do more hairs at the end of my brow and less at the front . you want a nice gradient from dark to light . some people concealer to shape it more (i don’t ) but with experimenting you might like it more . - i have sensitive eyes so i think my advice is the most valid here . i’ve never had a problem with elf mascara or loreal paradise mascara. i had no issues with the elf or nyx eyeliners. when it comes to lashes use duo glue its the best . lashes are hard so make sure you use tweezers. i cut my lashes very carefully into 3 sections and stick them one section at time as putting a whole lash doesn’t work for me . you have more control putting lash sections at a time so i recommend clusters or cutting the band carefully into sections for your first time . if you have allergies to lash glue my friend uses magnetic eyeliner and lashes . you can get lashes from anywhere i recommend tatti lashes but you can get a 10 pack on amazon just as good . I WANTED TO ADD A PICTURE OF MY MAKEUP AS AN EXAMPLE OF NATURAL MAKEUP BUT I DONT THINK REDDIT WILL LET ME .

definitelylowIQ

I don't blame you, I'm a guy and I'd never be able to figure it out haha. What I often notice though is this black paint on the upper eyelid that makes your eyes look much larger. No guy I know has ever worn that, so no matter how it makes you look, people will immediately see you as a woman then. I bet there are tons of YouTube channels on the topic though. Anyway, don't sweat it! If you're still young, your body might even adjust on its own.

NoCamera1611

Thank you, I’ll try figure it out, wish me luck ig 😭

Drunkengrower

Let your hair down show some skin wear makeup like the rest of the women no makeup puts you at a disadvantage I’ve seen ones go to a 8 with makeup it’s a cheat code consider yourself lucky

jamza90

No Tee shirts. Bin them all. Show off your assets. Thats what most feminine women do.

RealRiccyTan

Stop dressing like a 90s butch lesbian. You have pretty eyes and facial structure but you don’t wear any makeup, you dress how you dress and the way you wear your hair your just look very juvenile. You give off the vibe that u grew up in a very rural place where all the fashion and personal grooming is stuck in the 90s

Smile

NoCamera1611

My smile looks too odd, I was in an accident as a kid so my teeth aren’t the best

Wilder_Oats

It’s not that you look masculine, you just don’t present yourself (clothes, hair, makeup) in a very feminine way. All of these points are easily improved with the advice others are offering.

Symbionitenine

You don’t appear masculine to me. Tone up and have a skin care routine that brings you to a confidence to go without makeup or subtle enhancement. Look into retinol eye creams. Your natural hair should be flaunted. You have classic features and the right person will appreciate that. No need to wear tight or fitted/revealing clothing to create femininity as the current social norms suggest. Be confident! You’re gorgeous!

NoCamera1611

thank you, this advice is actually helpful 🙏🏼

Slight_Break_543

Side note, clean your room!

NoCamera1611

…i’ll get around to that

Swimming-Book-1296

Smile. Mascara. Grow your hair out so it is visible that you have long hair from the front.

ChelseaSmiles40li

I agree, but she said in the other post that she’s autistic & can’t deal with the feeling of her hair touching her face. I think doing hair in the front and maybe bobbi-pinning the front might help. Like a half-up, half-down situation.

PyMussy

Girl you look like Abby from The Last of Us. That's dope as fuck

No way, I love tlou, this is a major compliment thanks 😂

I’ve wanted to cut my hair for a while, but the last time I cut it lots of people (specifically family members) all told me I had ruined it and it looked so much better long. I probably will cut it soon though.

No_University5296

You’re going to need some skincare and make up some highlights and a hairstyle

CoolerRellici

Skin care, put oil on those eyebrows after using dermaroller on the eyebrows, lose some face fat by eating less sugar and salt

NoCamera1611

I am currently on a weight loss journey, I’m down around 40lbs and aim to lose some more but as I said in my last post I feel like losing weight has made my wider frame more noticeable. I do use skin care products, my skin actually used to be a whole lot worse, and oil on eyebrows? I’m not sure I’ve heard of that before, what kind of oil?

CoolerRellici

Castor oil, coconut oil,and apply dermaroller,it is a massage thing with thin spikes that make your blood flow more thru your eyebrow growing them more…better apply those💯💯❗️

NoCamera1611

nice, I’ll look into that, thank you!

CoolerRellici

I hope you really gonna do that,as you enter on my profile I also posted a pic of me where I ask on how to improve eye area, check it because I have been doing the same stuff and maybe you gonna be more good looking 😊👍
