You also had 6~ months to buy or finance the tickets before they sold out. So this is just kind of the price you pay for being a little late to the party unfortunately.
Almost every event you can score incredibly cheap tickets before said event, if you are willing to risk not going ! The most expensive time will be the 2 months to 2 weeks before the event since it’s where fomo hits the hardest / most people gives them time to prepare
My girlfriend and best friend surprised me with tickets for my birthday but I already bought myself one lol so now I have 1 ga & 2 vip but I’m obviously using one
If I remember correctly, when I went years ago there were people selling valid wristbands on the way INTO the festival (like on the nearby roads) so I wouldn’t be insanely worried about it, but the only definitive way is to play their (ticket sellers) game :/
