They actually did. New Sorin and Tamiyo as commander put you into lower hell queue. But they somehow managed to miss the most obviously busted commander in the set.
Sorin only puts you there because the good black and white cards almost all have 45 weight, so it's hard to build a black and white deck that isn't 1.5-2 tiers higher in matchmaking than its commander would suggest. I've never seen a Tamiyo deck to check its weight, but it's most likely the same situation for her.
I often run confounding conundrum main board, and *still* lost to Nadu in the game where I drew it T2 because even if the lands bounce, they can tap them for mana before the bounce trigger resolves >.>
Yeah I noticed the same thing. I thought it might have been good, but it just didn't really slow them down. So they return a land to hand, ok, but they still have card advantage an extra mana.
For real, even in hell I think Nadu would do incredibly well due it's speed and resilience. Target destruction and board wipes, hardly matter when it churns out 4 lands to your 1 every turn and throw Poq into the mix.
He will probably be in hell Q in a month or two
Also every mono black deck I played against him took him down pretty easy but maybe I was lucky, probably alot of bad nadu's running around at the moment
Confounding conundrum is my favorite card to slide into any blue brawl deck. Probably confirmation bias but I feel like every time I draw it early enough, I win. The amount of fetches/ramp is crazy and it’s such an effective hate piece.
Love to see it get some love. Down with the bird.
I got the same experience when I tried tergrid to counter it. No more nadu.
If they can preban cards they can predesignate certain commanders to hell.

Not coming in tapped was a huge mistake.

I beg of you to try [[Horobi, Deaths Wail]] and watch how fast they concede.

They can just target him when half their deck is aimed to target stuff? Why would they concede?
Horobi has 720 weight, so you'd have to build a pretty useless deck to match with Nadu at all.

Nadu should go into its own queue

Share the list. I need to get away from this abomination.

Funny enough, I was able to beat Nadu today using a really janky Naya enchantments deck
He will probably be in hell Q in a month or two Also every mono black deck I played against him took him down pretty easy but maybe I was lucky, probably alot of bad nadu's running around at the moment

They haven't adjusted Brawl matchmaking for MH3 cards yet. Nadu will probably end up in hell queue in a few weeks.
I was literally just coming here to complain about the same thing, I just want to play my janky kudo bear deck in peace from that awful bird

There is a special queue for overtuned commanders?
