Crested geckos are very easy! They like room temperature (70-80 degrees), eat a very easy to make powder diet (it's like baby food!), and are fairly hardy for a little lizard! Very easy beginner pet. Also super adorable. Crested geckos permanently drop their tails when spooked though. Gargoyle geckos are extremely similar and regrow their tails. Check out r/crestedgecko for more details!
They do a need a fairly expensive vertical tank and lots of climbing space
