Hell yeah, i agree with you, so many gatekeepers were mad at the stranger things metallica thing, but i was like, thats a good thing because it gets more people into the genre.
They are like the Simpsons. They had a weird-as-fuck first season, followed by a lot of really strong ones, which cemented them as a household name, but diminished ever since. Now they are just beating a dead horse.
Not all band were like that. Rush finished amazingly great. Metallica on the other hand are just ruining their own reputation.
Honestly, there's been solid episodes again since at least season 25. They're not all winners, but the quality of the show has increased DRAMATICALLY since the dark days of the early 00's (and even those seasons have some bangers, like Trilogy of Error).
Look guys, I normally would be the first to make fun of this, but my kids are the target audience here, and I can't listen to skibidie toilet anymore. If they are talking about Reload, even Lulunat this point, whatever the hell is happening with Metallica and Fortnite is good.
