Man, I saw one of those where I wanted the thing five seconds in and stopped wanting it when they demonstrated how hard it was for a dummy to do the thing without the product.
I saw one that made it "easier to crack eggs" and I was interested until the demonstration person literally SLAMMED an egg on the counter and the voice said "it's just too hard!"
LOL. Yeah I was crying this morning over something like that, but I'm off my meds and managed not to get counterproductive about it or damage anything.
The commercial I saw was for a drill attachment and they probably could have sold it if it was a sane person having reasonable trouble.
I actually hadnt thought of this for a lot of these but they always give the act of f-ing it up to a 20 year old model who now looks like shes acting a bit from the tim and eric awesome show.
If it was my grandpa trying to crack the egg with his intention tremor I'd get the product and their market but the 20 year old makes it seem like they made it to help elderly people but kida hope another 20 year old will think, yeah I do struggle to crack fragile egg shells.
They probably want to avoid potentially triggering their consumer base's sense of shame, i.e. if the person in the commercial is old and frail, it means that the problem the consumer implicitly admits having by buying that product is a problem experienced by frail old people. Whereas, if the person depicting the problem is young and healthy looking, the presentation avoids that implicit message.
Or one of those mobile game ads where they do everything wrong which they think makes you want to download it just to prove you can do it better than they can
There's actually a reason for those commercials: they're disability products but they use able bodied actors for practical reasons and to prevent stigma.
I like to think those infomercial people all live in some dark timeline where humanity is fifth or sixth down the list in terms of intelligence, and just happen into every advance by accident.
It is, I'm a creative player and yeah, it happens. Of course not this long, he's put some barrier blocks to mimic what it feels like, but yeah, it happens.
Surprisingly, I don’t think there are barrier blocks there. If there were, I don’t think you’d be able to see the selection outline on the dirt blocks when the cursor would otherwise be passing through the barrier, unless if I don’t understand how barrier blocks work. Of course could just as well be done intentionally, but neither of those spaces are blocking the selection highlight, so I don’t think it’s by barrier.
There might not be, but they're very intentionally wildly swinging the crosshair left and right instead of just keeping it straight, pointed at the middle of the hole
Im sorry but this is a skill issue lol. I just tested byself for the hell of it and got it 3 for 3, going faster every time. Im actually very bad ass /s
I actually have no issue with this tbh, line your self up, push forward and move up or down. Easy peasy. I have been playing for nearly 14 years though
I realize it's exaggerated in this video, but the movement in creative needs a change. Why am I sliding around like I'm on ice in creative? For realism? Just give me precise movement when I'm in build mode please.

It’s like watching one of those infomercials where the actors just cannot understand how to do anything until they receive the relevant product

A lot of those products are designed for the elderly and people with disabilities, who do have difficulty with whatever the product helps with.

or reddit comments that are really dumb and make you want to dumb and make you want to correct them, just like people who ride bicycles to work
Bicycles are fine as long as they have proper tires. But a kickscooter isn't, especially if it's snowy outside.
They either said that about bicycles to prove their point about dumb commenters, or they are a dumb commenter. Either one.
I tried to play along for either.

Came to the comments to say exactly this
/r/wheredidthesodago
I like to think those infomercial people all live in some dark timeline where humanity is fifth or sixth down the list in terms of intelligence, and just happen into every advance by accident.
I normally just place a block at the level I want to go In and then just destroy it
I just destroy the entrance to widen it
There are 2 types of people
and a third type with -1 brain cells as seen in the video
I’m the secret fourth type that gets an ender pearl
Achievement unlocked! - there is another *find the secret fourth type*
Then there’s the fifth one where you use commands to teleport in
and then there’s the sixth type that deletes the world when this happens
The seventh when i just no clip in
the eight type, just cry in a corner
Imagine using spectator mode, that's so 2022
Or just switch to spectator and back out again when your are inside
F3 + F4 gang
True
I'm the end credit type, I just give up and go home
r/foundtheprogrammer
The only programming I do is Minecraft commands and Scratch
Still a programmer
Then the sixth one that just goes spectator mode and then back to creative 😂
The seventh one waits for it to become night and then places and sleeps in a bed on the inside
The eighth type goes through without struggle
I tend to swap between the 2 types...
Yea I typically break the block above the door so it’s a lot easier to fit in from the left or right
I press F3 + N to go to the spectator mode, pass through the wall and press F3 + N again to switch the mode back
I'm sorry, you can do that...?
Don’t be sorry, most people don’t know. But it only exists in Java edition Edit: Phone autocorrecting Java to JavaScript
>Edit: Phone autocorrecting Java to JavaScript To be honest, I think most players would understand that either way. You good.
Also F3 + F4 to get to any game mode
I thought the same but I have to admit, sometimes I’m just stubborn and don’t want to. I’m sure many people can relate.
I normally just go through the hole instead of bumping myself against it repeatedly, seems to work pretty well
well its because youre just flailing yourself around the wall instead of actually lining yourself up, losing speed, and going through it.
This feels like one of those phone game ads where someone can't do something simple to make you want to play the game and do it right.
This feels like watching one of those gentlemen that manage to miss on public toilets playing a game.
Skill issue
When the clip is actually a skill issue
skissue
Yeah if you play alot of creative this should not be a problem, if you just play minecraft this should not be a problem
True!
That hurt
Why do you keep going side to side lmao You lined up with it horizontally several times
Controller
Ikr. Slam your face against the wall and keep going side to side until you get through.
Sisyphus
one must imagine markiplier3000 happy

Oh yeah no it’s most likely staged, just not with barriers
wait ur right
It's hard when you're using mobile
ur probably right
Yeah OP keeps returning to the weirdest fucking side angle almost like they're purposely trying to fail.
Or drunk
no he’s just one of the people in mobile game ads
This hurts to watch
Skill issue
ikr just hug the wall and slide against it until you get in
f3+f4 to change to spectator
Alternatively, F3+N
Have you tried getting good?
One of us?
Blood for the Blood God
ONE OF US!!
ONE OF US
ONE OF US
If only there was a way to resolve this.
Pick Block, break, enter, replace.
This is the way
Or just stop flailing around like a lunatic and line it up
This is like reverse edging
Kaboom?
Yes Halo, *kaboom*.
Never happened to me before
They need to hire you for mobile game ads
This is literally the easiest thing to do. Go from above or underneath not the sides. If you can’t, put a block to land on. It’s creative mode ffs.
Are you handicapped
At that point just block n walk
If you playing in Java F3+F4 will make your life happier.
I don’t really. I don’t find this to be a challenge
Like a fly trying to escape through an open window
Middle click, blast through wall, repair. You're God, why are you using doorways?
This never happens to me (console player)
If your struggling this much just use f3+f4 to switch to spectator for 2 seconds then switch back
No, I don't.
Im sorry but this is a skill issue lol. I just tested byself for the hell of it and got it 3 for 3, going faster every time. Im actually very bad ass /s
Dude I think you just suck at moving in minecraft
I do not have that problem.
Just stand slightly above or below the entrance and press forward as you go up or down???? Are y'all fr struggling with this 😭
Colossal skill issue
mentally and visually impaired
if cheats are enabled just f3+f4 and switch on spectator to enter or if disabled enderpearl with a good aim to hit the door
Or you know just learn how to go through the hole normally
Makes me wonder how they handle doors in real life if a game is this much of a struggle
This is a situation i occasionally find myself in creative which i usually use ender pearls to prevent
F3+F4, go to spectator, go through the wall, go back
I remember having this issue when I was younger and didn't know spectator mode exists
Have u tried using ur brain?
I am so happy that console edition doesn’t have the extra flying drift cus when I first played on PC, it was absolutely horrible
Dont look everywhere you go. Use the wasd keys to adjust instead of using both at the same time
This is what pick block is for. Break in and replace it.
This is why spectator exists
Literally the only way bedrock console is better than Java lol
I LITERALLY PLAY CREATIVE SO MUCH ON MY NINTENDO SWITCH, AND THIS IS ALMOST ALWAYS HAPPENING TO ME-
This is why I always use stairs or 3 block tall gaps for those kind of hallways. That or a platform I can fall on.
its one click to copy the block, one to destroy, one to replace. can be done within one-two seconds. other then that its also just a skill issue :D
Op is the person from all the mobile game ads
I either break and replace the block or shift into spectator real quick and then back to creative
Put a block, walk in, delete the block. No pain.
Put a block, fly up, delete the block. No pain.
toMAYto, toMAHto
Bro /gamemode spectator or F3+F4
middle click, left click, move, turn around, right click. solved haha
I usually just go /gamemode spectator, go through wall and then /gamemode creative
Either place a block to land on or break the top block to give you a bigger gap lol but the struggle is real
you dont know how andry am all the time when that happends
The Minecraft equivalent of the “let me in. LET ME IN!” Meme
Not an issue on console edition!
JUST GO THROUGH THE THING *Having obsessive-compulsive disorder*
Massive skill issue
I have overcome this issue by phasing through walls by using creativeNoClip via carpet mod
Dude, I'm so sad about creative flying now. It was so good on PS3 legacy Minecraft. On my PS4 I can barely move, I'm so floaty and weird
/carpet setDefault creativeNoClip true
the usb problem but in minecraft
Break block Pick Block button Place it back
never had anywhere near this degree of a problem before. just place a block or something.
we need a playerstate with noclip where you can still build
At that point i just swap to spectator and phase through the wall
Yeah I find Java’s creative mode to be annoying drifty
f3+n:
Laughs in controller
carpet mod creative noclip, look it up
/carpet creativenoclip true I always have this on. It’s from the carpet mod.
You can use shift and spacebar to fly slow
I don't, i can control where i fly, you're just whack
I play a lot of creative and I have never known this pain
That flying was ass tho
Why would you do that on purpose..
Bruh just go slightly below the door and hold forward while flying up, it's not that hard.
Average mobile ad
JUST GET THROUGH
Skill issue tbh
skill issue
Post lobotomy gameplay
Op is a house fly
Clearly you do not go in the square hole. Shocking I know.
Skill Issue
I have mastered this skill on fly speed 10. We are not the same
I actually have no issue with this tbh, line your self up, push forward and move up or down. Easy peasy. I have been playing for nearly 14 years though
Let me fix your title. 'If You Play Creative For The First Time, You Know The Pain."
Steve coming home drunk as hell again 😒
Skill issue
If you play a lot of creative, you know it's not a problem.
Put a block on top of the door way to align your height with you dingus
“Only 1% have passed this level”
Google ender pearls
Just make it wider.
This feels like the dad side of those dad VS mom mobile game ads, seriously stop sliding along the wall
Quite literally a skill issue
Painful to watch, it isn't that difficult...
Your not going in purpose just for content
i literally had a heart attack watching this..
I realize it's exaggerated in this video, but the movement in creative needs a change. Why am I sliding around like I'm on ice in creative? For realism? Just give me precise movement when I'm in build mode please.
And turns out there is a barrier...
You wouldn't be able to see the outline of the blocks beyond the entrance if there was
No there isnt
Make it bigger
Never.
Omfg just place or break a block
No
this is why i like bedrock creative otherwise java is the best imo i play bedrock manely tho since my pc is shit
Try using performance mods with Java and see if there's any improvement
i have a 2008 macbook there’s not much i can do lmaoooooo
Bedrock players cant relate lol
Literally a skill issue
Was this made by a dev?
Has happened to me before, can relate
Skill issue
krill issue
skill issue
Bait used to be believable
