I could see Ajax starting by the end of next regular season. Green can probably be a solid bench contributor, maybe like what Pat was back in 2020-22. I’d be happy to have Pat Bev back as a backup PG, but he shouldn’t be starting at SG imo.
The big questions are in the frontcourt imo. Brook just looks too slow to keep up at this point, and Bobby was extremely inconsistent all year. The frontcourt has really been the difference so far against the Pacers; without Giannis we’re just too small and too slow.
So frustrating they didnt try and play him more during the year. For a team lacking athleticism on the wing he brought something different to the team.
I think Brook has been bad but he is getting no favors from the guards on defense. Also he does work better with Giannis than by himself at this point.
Beas? He came here on a vet min to try and rebuild his post-LAL image to get a larger bag this off season. From what I've read, we did offer him a larger role (including starting) but that was before Doc came in and finally benched him, one of Doc's good moves tbh.
As for Beas getting a new deal, sadly some team will give him a deal because of his shooting splits before he started completely sucking.
This is absolutely right, if you look at most of the teams who will be advancing in the playoffs, they are clearly so much faster and more athletic than this bucks roster. It’s not even close.
maybe we should start resting players after we clinch the playoffs. nba workload is not feasible for long term leg longevity. so many of the high stress moves are only getting added up, players starting in highschool will have played more by the time they get to the nba than some players whole lives in the 70s. weird but lots of youtube vids breaking down the injury issue in the nba tbh
Nah I think they just play it out and whatever happens happens. Doesn't seem like Giannis would even be ready to play until round 2 at the earliest regardless.
Yup. Once Dame was injured last night, it really didn’t matter what the outcome of that game was. We don’t have the personnel to run and gun with them.
Brook has shown his age. He is done, and we should move on and find his replacement. Either that, or he becomes a bench player because it was brutal watching him play Games 2-3.
You got a chip with Brook man, he couldn’t rebound then either. I don’t know who the ideal replacement is for Brook but bare minimum he needs to shoot the three well
He can come off the bench but either Giannis has to play the 5 next year or we take our chances on an athletic switchable big. The offense might struggle but the defense will be awesome
You people really just are Brook haters huh? He does so much more than you’ll ever realize lmao. Floor spacing, can finish inside, and his presence on defense is what allows giannis to flourish defensively and in transition.
The "he did more for us then you ever realize crowd" is just delusional.
Typical hardheaded Wisconsinite mentality. If they could control things, they'd keep playing that core LITERALLY through their mid 40s
The fact that Jonathan Isaac is a Daily Wire employee even though he's making millions of dollars already as an NBA player means he probably actually believes in that Christian-Republican propaganda bullshit and isn't just grifting. Don't want that guy anywhere near this team
Khris is 2022, Giannis in 23, Giannis AND Dame in 24. It’s time to play them each tops 65 games during the regular season and live with the results. Develop your young players, and run your dogs in the playoffs healthy. Sick of the incompetent management of this team since winning in 21.
I had already resolved myself weeks ago to an early exit
After last season— I pretty much stopped taking any of this shit seriously
You play an entire 82 game season just for Giannis to go down in Game 1 vs Miami
And now this year— Giannis goes down a week before the playoffs, Khris sprains his ankle in Game 2 & Dame gets hurt in a swing game we absolutely had to get
Atleast (like last year), I didn’t waste time getting my hopes up
Finally it’s over
> Lillard has played through significant soreness in his Achilles tendon in recent weeks, and reaggrevated the injury late in fourth quarter of Game 3 loss Friday night. Bucks now facing likelihood of playing without Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
They can sleepwalk into the finals. Every teams best player is either out or hobbled aside from the Knicks who’s SECOND best player is out. What a joke
Mathurin is out for the year (he would be part of the playoff rotation getting 15-25 minutes)
Halliburton is like 75% right now with a nagging injury
For those not familiar with why Haliburton came back so quick from injury and has been playing through it: he needed to play 65 games to have a shot at an all-nba team and the difference between a 25% and 30% contract (probably around $45-50m). Lot smaller chance he gets an all-nba team with how his shooting has slumped this second half, but when he came back he didn't know it would be this bad.
Why do the basketball gods hate the Milwaukee Bucks? I just want one (1) year of a healthy Bucks playoff run before we have to nuke the remnants of our championship team.
I got to feeling this way when the Bucks would be play 15+ playoff games every year, now that they’re consistently 5-6 games and done, it works… less great
Said this a bunch but now this is officially the case, run a long rotation and see which of the guys you don't play have a little something to give for next year and start thinking about pieces getting moved
No shit he was going to be out tomorrow. Dude couldn't even run.
Docs coaching has been great but keeping dame in for ot and not having ajj guard Hali on the last sequence is horrible coaching.
Retool the roster for next year...and don't play your aging starters 38 minutes a night during the stretch run of the season next year.
lol I know. But I don’t live in Wisconsin and am not a Packers fan so I feel no ill will toward them, and they’ve been just as disrespected as us so that makes me want them to prove all the haters wrong. Do what the Bucks couldn’t.
Yeah I don’t really love any east teams unless Miami pulls this series off. But maybe we can have some kind of miracle recovery? Lol otherwise I’m also on team Luka for playoffs
They probably won't but I think they have enough spunk to pull off an upset. I think they have the best shot out of any team in the NBA.
I don't think the Cs stand a chance.
Also, I fucking hate the Cs.
Yeah fuck the Celtics.
But Im sayin' though. Like Giannis been injured so Jokic is already the best dude right now. But for the ERA? We are talking peak for peak... Bro I don't want Jokic to get that 2nd chip
That stinks. Time to look to next season and retool.
Really hope we give the young guys a ton of minutes to get some playoff experience under their belt. It could really go far for their development as role players next year.
The top priority next season is to find minutes for the young guys on the team. Some if them will develop to rotation pieces when playoff come.
Not sure Doc River is the coach who can develop anybody.
I’m a little relieved now that I don’t have to stress about the playoffs anymore. This team was dicey and inconsistent and I don’t think they’d have won more than 1 more game this series anyway. Just rest all the starters from here on out and hope for a better outcome next season.
I understand people saying we should just shut it down for the year but at the same time after playing 82 games in a season, we gotta go out fighting. There’s nothing saying we won’t get injured again next year. Right now series is 2-1. If Giannis is in any way healthy enough to play, he needs to be out there leading the unit.
Giannis is not playing in this series
Calf injuries don’t just go from not being able to run, to playing 40 minutes in an NBA playoff game within 3 days
It’s over
This is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. No, don’t risk a career destroying injury to your franchise superstar for a 1st round series in a season where half your roster is hurt anyway.
Shut it down, let the young dudes get playoff experience, get healthy and refocus for next year. This offseason, the Big 3 will get a full training camp with doc and come out much better than they were this year.
I’m sure last year you were also saying this same nonsense when Giannis got injured game 1 hoping he’d be healthy this year. Oh wait looks like he’s injured again rn. If Giannis is “healthy” in any way you have to play him. Luka had the same injury later in the season 2 seasons ago and came back. IF Giannis is healthy I hope he plays
its part of the luck but why should we risk our best player to be injured even more.
the season has been a wash ever since we hired griffin. our roster isn't good enough to win the championship. why risk it?
Get to the offseason healthy and retool the roster.
then we go from there and hope for better injury luck.
Nothing soft about acknowledging our 2 best players are out and our 3rd is hobbled - denying reality is way softer than accepting what's in front of you
No you guys have been soft since the start of the series. Why even be a fan? You are all a bunch of losers honestly. Ain’t no one denying reality but you play 7 for a reason. We probably lose tomorrow, but if you think there’s no shot at running off 3 straight if Giannis or dame come back for game 5, then find a new team.
I think we should just shift for positive vibes next season. More time for Dame and Giannis to gel. Maybe move some pieces around. More youth minutes. I don’t think we should sweat this season anymore.
They are saying he’s been playing through soreness for a few weeks now. Actually makes sense since even though he’s played well, he hasn’t looked as spry and explosive. All that mileage in PDX starting show me thinks.
I've made my peace with this season being over. I don't want to see Giannis rush back and get even more injured. Just start focusing on next season and learn from this season.
Hopefully we move on from the likes of Brook, Jae, Pat, and Bobby. Also, I hope we realize the importance of younger players. Horst needs to rebuild this roster properly. No more wasting assets on bench players over 30. It's ridiculous.
Play the youngings now! Let’s see what they got. Fuck it. No Giannis No Lillard but we need our fucking bench to get swole and to do that they to actually get minutes like my boy Ajax. Damn he changed the whole energy of the game like instantly
its over. s’alright. we knew what we were getting into. dame and khris have been injury prone for a while now and they’re gettin pretty old. the rest of our roster is even older. injuries derailing the team right during the playoffs was always a real possibility
Why would we want that though? They’re already banged up enough and they don’t have a real chance to win a championship this year. Better to just end the season and allow Dame and Giannis and Khris to get healthy and prepared for next season.
Looking back, they should have let Houston lock up Lopez. Appreciate everything he’s done, but he’s not providing the play we need at that level anymore.
Although a replacement 5 would have most likely been worse (contradicting myself,) the savings could have set us up much better the next few years.
Wow....just saw this. I mean, what a fitting end to the absolute mess this entire season has been.
Not really sure what to say.....at some point, is it worth paying 50-60 mil to guys who are just never available? I'm just pissed.....the thing of it is this will all cause Horst to bring everyone back no matter what (even though it seems evident maybe Giannis and Dame don't work together).
This is just so fitting......Dame finally shows up and Giannis is out so it doesn't matter.....then Khris finally shows up but Dame is out so it still doesn't matter.
This definitely seems as payback for 2021....and it probably figures. Both Harden and Kyrie went down in that series...........we probably don't beat them without that happening. Still was worth it....even if this is all payback.
Pacers fans on their sub were all up in arms about a post joking about using Thanasis to injure one of their stars, all the while the pacers actually are injuring ours. Ridiculous
Going into next year— every rotation guy besides Dame/Khris/Giannis needs to be under 30, preferably under 27 No more vets…enough
Green and Ajax minutes to the moon
I could see Ajax starting by the end of next regular season. Green can probably be a solid bench contributor, maybe like what Pat was back in 2020-22. I’d be happy to have Pat Bev back as a backup PG, but he shouldn’t be starting at SG imo. The big questions are in the frontcourt imo. Brook just looks too slow to keep up at this point, and Bobby was extremely inconsistent all year. The frontcourt has really been the difference so far against the Pacers; without Giannis we’re just too small and too slow.

I think Brook has been bad but he is getting no favors from the guards on defense. Also he does work better with Giannis than by himself at this point.
I'd take Pat Bev back in a heartbeat tho - his impact was huge
I’d prefer him off the bench, but I definitely want to keep him.
Same. We just need a 2 next season who isn't charmin soft like Beas
Gotta get a 20-something defensive guard to complement Dame.
Literally everyone has been asking for this since his Portland days. Can’t be undersized though.
With the assets bucks have how are they going to get a good young defensive 2 who can also shoot the 3?
We need Jrue
seriously though where the fuck has he gone? is he secretly upset that he's not starting? probably. he came here so that he could start.
Beas? He came here on a vet min to try and rebuild his post-LAL image to get a larger bag this off season. From what I've read, we did offer him a larger role (including starting) but that was before Doc came in and finally benched him, one of Doc's good moves tbh. We need him for culture

Yeah fouled out
He was also the only guy who showed up until Doc subbed in AJJ - PJ proved that this team can never have enough dawgs and Pat Bev personifies that
Yeah but he's sooo old man. Yeah I guess keep him off the bench.

Telling us you didn't watch the game without telling us
This is absolutely right, if you look at most of the teams who will be advancing in the playoffs, they are clearly so much faster and more athletic than this bucks roster. It’s not even close.
Yes
Lol Doc Rivers ain't doing that
Bucks in 6...in 2025
Let’s hope this super old roster is healthy for round one next year
Beasley and Pat Bev are almost certainly gone. We need a center that can move.
Beasley yes. Bev though, I think (hope) he stays.
Brook needs to go too. Or at least needs to be coming off the bench at this point. Edit: spelling
They’ll make a mean wheelchair team in a few years.
The most cursed season.
Hopefully banking karma for next year
Banking aarp benefits is all we doing
Don't act like that coffee discount at McDonald's ain't a huge benefit.
I'll take it
I think we’re still indebted karma from 2021…
it was worth it tbh
Law of averages means that the pistons are gonna go 29-0 next year so idk
It’s crazy that the most cursed season is even possible after our injury luck these last couple playoffs
maybe we should start resting players after we clinch the playoffs. nba workload is not feasible for long term leg longevity. so many of the high stress moves are only getting added up, players starting in highschool will have played more by the time they get to the nba than some players whole lives in the 70s. weird but lots of youtube vids breaking down the injury issue in the nba tbh
Officially.
Needed that win yesterday but now it’s over
Worst part is fans have to watch one more home game.
They'll be REAAAAAAAL sad about the roster but still happy to see Bobby out there doing his thing.
I'm totally fine and fully mentally sane hahahaaHAHAHAAH
![gif](giphy|J5jiSSrEkV3Kd8iOwb)
It’s so hard to not be in insufferable doom and gloom mode at this point
I’m in acceptance mode, it’s over.
To be honest yes. My biggest worry now is they’re going to rush Giannis back and he’ll get more hurt and lose anyways
I doubt it. That could be catastrophic to our franchise when we have no hopes of winning this cursed season.
If it's any consolation at all Doc addressed this yesterday in the presser and basically said there's no way they want to rush anything with Giannis
It’s over now. Looking forward to next season. Serious roster issues though that need to be addressed. Get someone who can rebound besides Giannis.
Brook has shown his age. He is done, and we should move on and find his replacement. Either that, or he becomes a bench player because it was brutal watching him play Games 2-3.
It wasn't just Brook, the guards were DESTROYED on rebounds. Zero hustle to snag long rebounds. Pacers starting guards had 15 rebounds. Bucks, 3.
Not a hater but the guy is like 40. It’s time for a change. How is it hating to want more youth and athleticism on the team?
The "he did more for us then you ever realize crowd" is just delusional. Typical hardheaded Wisconsinite mentality. If they could control things, they'd keep playing that core LITERALLY through their mid 40s
Bucks defense really flourished this year with brook anchoring lmao. Maybe you don’t realize how much of a liability he is.
Is it possible to get Jonathan Isaac?
He seems more like a Boston or Utah type of guy
The fact that Jonathan Isaac is a Daily Wire employee even though he's making millions of dollars already as an NBA player means he probably actually believes in that Christian-Republican propaganda bullshit and isn't just grifting. Don't want that guy anywhere near this team
Naz Reid is your guy
Brook gone please
Edey incoming
just rest Khris its over. credit to him and Dame for being warriors though just unfortunate luck
Hell no let Khris empty the clip again
Rest him why? We still should want to win the game. Fight like hell.
At least we have a really good excuse against Pacers fans now. They almost lost at home vs a team without Giannis
Makes me feel better and yesterday because it's over anyway. Literally just play all the young guys 40mpg it's wraps.
Crazy how we went from “anything short of ECF is a massive failure” to this 💀
Khris is 2022, Giannis in 23, Giannis AND Dame in 24. It’s time to play them each tops 65 games during the regular season and live with the results. Develop your young players, and run your dogs in the playoffs healthy. Sick of the incompetent management of this team since winning in 21.
100% regular season means almost nothing.
Doc Rivers does literally the opposite of everything you just mentioned 🤣🤣
"TOPS" 65 games? There's absolutely zero chance Giannis is going to willingly forgo awards consideration by not meeting the 65 games played criteria.
Glen ain’t doing that lol
They could do that next year but they didn't really have that luxury this year with Dame being added so shortly before the season began
Eh play the young guys, play hard, make them beat us in 7!
I had already resolved myself weeks ago to an early exit After last season— I pretty much stopped taking any of this shit seriously You play an entire 82 game season just for Giannis to go down in Game 1 vs Miami And now this year— Giannis goes down a week before the playoffs, Khris sprains his ankle in Game 2 & Dame gets hurt in a swing game we absolutely had to get Atleast (like last year), I didn’t waste time getting my hopes up Finally it’s over
Well they need to revisit the way he plays in the offseason. Getting a full head of steam and taking the amount of hits he takes is not sustsinable.
> Lillard has played through significant soreness in his Achilles tendon in recent weeks, and reaggrevated the injury late in fourth quarter of Game 3 loss Friday night. Bucks now facing likelihood of playing without Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Wild that he played some of his best basketball this season over the last few games with this injury.
Season is clipped, this sucks 😔
He’s out for the series.
We're out for the series *
Why couldnt we play the magic or sum I hate to see the pacers win because of our injuries ffs
Is what it is, that being said I’m rooting for Philly or NY over them cuz Hali really needs to be humbled
Magic are better than the pacers
I know, I just hate the Pacers. At least magic's players are likeable
Turner is very likable.
1 of 15 aint gonna cut it, like Eric Bledsoe
who cares? Celtics are already destined for the nba finals
They can sleepwalk into the finals. Every teams best player is either out or hobbled aside from the Knicks who’s SECOND best player is out. What a joke
Pacers don't have anyone injured but they're not making it to the ECF regardless 😂

I need to become just an NBA playoff fan because the regular season doesn’t mean shit
I got to feeling this way when the Bucks would be play 15+ playoff games every year, now that they’re consistently 5-6 games and done, it works… less great
This gave me a heart attack
Said this a bunch but now this is officially the case, run a long rotation and see which of the guys you don't play have a little something to give for next year and start thinking about pieces getting moved
Time to root for Mavs I’ll be damned if Denver wins again— Fuck Jokic fans
I believe the Timberwolves have a chance to beat them. Their defense is amazing.
Why? What’d he do?
About to get more MVPs than Giannis. Funny cuz Jokic fans are more focused on hating Embiid and barely even have Giannis on their mind
Jokic is a very deserving MVP, just like Giannis.
I like Jokic
i hope we get to see Giannis and Dame together next season. on the bucks.
Moist Jordan vs the World.
So next year is our "last dance" isn't it.
No shit he was going to be out tomorrow. Dude couldn't even run. Docs coaching has been great but keeping dame in for ot and not having ajj guard Hali on the last sequence is horrible coaching. Well, at least this nightmare of a season can come to a close. I just hope the C's don't win.
I’m hopping on the Mavs train
Wolves for me. They have the best chance of anyone to beat the Nuggets
But they’re Minnesota fans lol
Ehh. Do we really want Jokic cementing himself as the best player in the era?
Nah, I'm cheering for the Wolves if the Bucks bust out. Kindred franchises.
Oh yeah no doubt. But they won't beat the Nuggets. Likely. I could be wrong because I'm almost always wrong about hoops
They probably won't but I think they have enough spunk to pull off an upset. I think they have the best shot out of any team in the NBA. I don't think the Cs stand a chance. Also, I fucking hate the Cs.

Maybe the Heat can upset them again and go to the finals.
fuck everyone saying its over, its not over till its over
Nothing is over. Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?
It's over
Fuck Siakam(even if unintentional) also was the reason Khris tweaked his ankle. Dude just plays wild sometimes
Thanasis break out game confirmed
That stinks. Time to look to next season and retool. Really hope we give the young guys a ton of minutes to get some playoff experience under their belt. It could really go far for their development as role players next year.

Everyone except Dame, Portis, and Giannis can go.
And Thanasis
For the metal health of Giannis, sure.

SOFT FANS! have a little hope
I'm a Vikings fan and I feel for y'all right now...damn.
T wolves looking good right now 👀. I’m cheering for Anthony Edwards. That boy a dawg. Praying he somehow beats the nuggets
Welp
ouch
This effing sucks
Get healthy for next year.
It's over 😔

GG boys, let’s let Doc cook with the reserves!
https://youtu.be/JTZYqODo7o0?si=lFB2Lu3Ua7qmZiOF
This is pain 😔
FUCK
What’s the status on Giannis?
I think we should just shift for positive vibes next season. More time for Dame and Giannis to gel. Maybe move some pieces around. More youth minutes. I don’t think we should sweat this season anymore.
They are saying he’s been playing through soreness for a few weeks now. Actually makes sense since even though he’s played well, he hasn’t looked as spry and explosive. All that mileage in PDX starting show me thinks.
Shut it down, unfortunately. Try to retool the roster for next year with some young legs (that Doc won’t play).
I have officially entered the ACCEPTANCE phase.
Gonna be an interesting summer

its actually over, now I ll hve to wake up early morning j to watch our team get screwed over, but I ll support even then :)
why are we always injured bro, this fucking sucks man :(, just one playoff run w a healthy roster is all I ask
Season over. Injuries befuddle us again. Thank goodness for 2021.
Is middletin still injured?
Rip to your current run but as long as you have doc you’re not making it to an ECF
They better revamp our supporting cast in the offseason. I'm pretty sure Crowder is gone. There better be other significant changes.
Man, that is not the news we wanted to hear! Is that what happens when he went down in OT?
Cs fan here, is there a chance Giannis is playing? bc if he does, you are gooood trust me
truly is over
Play the youngings now!
If they can squeak out a win or two here, they could play until end of May at least.
Why would we want that though? They’re already banged up enough and they don’t have a real chance to win a championship this year. Better to just end the season and allow Dame and Giannis and Khris to get healthy and prepared for next season.
I was just making a lame unclear joke about the first round schedule. Just feels so long.
Remember when people gave Bud shit for not playing Bobby entire playoff series? Man, those were the days.
he says he’ll play 🤷♂️
Incoming Middleton career game

Pacers will have injured all our starters by the end of game 4.
Next year it is I guess, congrats to the Nuggets
Welp now I'm stuck with only mlb
Looking back, they should have let Houston lock up Lopez. Appreciate everything he’s done, but he’s not providing the play we need at that level anymore. Although a replacement 5 would have most likely been worse (contradicting myself,) the savings could have set us up much better the next few years.
Sad sports noises
I’m gonna say it; even Khris. His 42 point game was awesome, but that’s the best he’s looked in the last 3 seasons.
80 point Midds and Thanasis triple double. This is the only way.
Gg’s. Fuck Indiana. If they somehow don’t act like dickwads for beating an old, sidelined team, and are good sports, I’ll give them respect.
Season is over anyway, stunk up the joint, just like Suns..
Pacers fans on their sub were all up in arms about a post joking about using Thanasis to injure one of their stars, all the while the pacers actually are injuring ours. Ridiculous
