You should wash it with soap then put a BUNCH of conditioner and brush it. Then rinse it out and if there's still issues pour boiling water over it

500_hagfish

pretty sure she has kanekalon so I don't recommend boiling water

ttemari

Does it matter what kind of soap and conditioner?

LargeCake7487

No I think any works I've done it before

ttemari

Alright, thank you!

And Also Try To Take Your Time Brushing It Out Because The Hair Fiber Is Really Thin And Easy To Break.

anger_leaf

because it’s synthetic hair if recommend using tide or smth and then fabric softener as conditioner. always works wonders for me and makes the hair silky

Itty-Bitty-Tiddy

Have you tried washing it and brushing it wet? You can also add gell or some other styling products on the dolls hair. I've also seen some people use boiling water but I think that has to do with styling curls.

s3xfuzz

boil washing doll hair straightens it! you can also put it in curls before boiling it in order to curl it

DreamDrinkerDolly

Her hair is kanekalon I'm pretty sure which has a very low heat tolerance. Not one to use heat styling tools on or a boil wash. Use warm water and soap to wash the hair then dump a bunch of conditioner in it brush it through, let it sit awhile then use your fingers and cold water to gently wash the conditioner out then while wet brush her hair out and just let her chill and dry out (: Edit: spelling

ttemari

Ok thank you!:)

Candid-Inevitable936

Was just detangling Teen Trends Kianna's super tangled also kanekalon hair + I'd recommend covering the hair in conditioner then detangling it section by section after this, I'd put on more conditioner then boilwash said conditioner out.

sliquonicko

I had that doll as a kid and the amount of gel combined with the fine texture of the hair was terrible. Now I know about hair washing on dolls, but didn’t think of it as a kid haha

pinkytron3000

I wonder if [this](https://youtu.be/LUL3JfdseZY?feature=shared) would work on monster high dolls? If not, try boil washing

monstahgurl

My Venus hair also looks like this , lmk if u figure out how to fix it

ttemari

I just got done with her and I think it turned pretty good:3 I washed her hair with soap, then put a lott of conditioner in, brushing it out with the conditioner still in and then I ended up boil washing herr

junibeas

I'm not sure what kind of hair this venus has, so i'd caution against boil washing until you can figure that out. But in the meantime! I'd soak her hair in fabric softener for a day or two, and then comb through it in small sections while it's still wet, then rinse it out once it's combed. Good luck! I hope you're able to find a solution that works!!

Vegetable-Rain7652

I second the Downy dunk approach! I thrifted a first wave Ghoulia that looked much like this, and the fabric softener made a MASSIVE difference!

sad_drop66

it looks like kanekalon

Localpossom1516

Oh my . Yeah no I really recommend using hair oil like Argan oil or coconut oil and start from the bottom with a regular hair brush and work the tangles out , bottom to top. Wash with your usual shampoo and conditioner and do a boil wash, I recommend pouring the boiling water on her from the top to keep the angle, then sit her somewhere her hair will dry straight not touching anything or bending or shaping unless you want her to have waves or curls . I usually brush it straight with a comb as it drys too

killmykind

Boil wash
