A non combat man for start to end can only earn 19K max(most slightly less)
Combat Support will have extra 3K(Risk pay) + 1k Max faster promotion + IPPT/Marksman Awards
Inf/Armor/Guards will on top have extra 1.5K risk ray
Commando/Diver/CBRD/EOD on top have extra 4K
Even SGT extra 4K to 5K on Top, Officer extra 4K on top of that
The most exceptional NSF will only earn abt 37K, how to save 34K
Edit: Actually forgot about overseas posting(like lancer or smth), if you get that one 34K might be possible
10k from NS + another 20k from doing food delivery on weekends (Friday after book out, whole of my Saturday, and half day on Sunday before booking in) 2 years straight. I was a storeman so I could afford to catch up on sleep in store lol.

Just about enough for a year of uni so about 8k lol. Didn't help that I blew some on OSL and a PC overhaul before I ORD'ed so might have been a bit more.

Wasn't really stingy with my spending though so its not a very accurate representation (spent a decent amount on a laptop)
Im also one of the lucky ones that was able to hitchhike parents car for a lot of my book ins though I think i spent my first 8-9 months grabbing to camp

26-34k ?? sounds impossible assuming you save 600 per month ,, in 2 years it’ll only add up to 14k..
Quite possible lah. Nowadays CDO/NDU/CBRE risk pay alone alr $500
5 figures possible if you barely spend on anything other than food and transport during your weekend bookouts
Might be possible if you don't spend a single cent, get early promoted to 2lt and get risk pay in addition to officer allowance
aiming for 10k and i have reached 6k at 1 year mark so should be able to hit 12k at this rate
14k as man with 190 days left ( but no gf no clubbing, not much commitment and no travelling)
