Literally nobody has ever asked me about ns in interviews

LMJR500Army

The HR guy literally told me "Your NS transcript is useless to us. We're looking for people who bring actual relevant skills to our company."

walking_lamppost_fnl

"I don't care how many Milos you can take, that is only relevant to the CEO, but not me."

DOM_TAN

No. Unless you’re taking a job that is uniformed.

seabmariner

Nope. Nobody cares. Work exp matters more. As a fresh grad, employers be looking at prior work exp, the internships n projs u did. Also how well u bullshit the interviewer

PigeonMafia_

It might matter only if it says "Bad", coz that's gonna raise eyebrows and questions during interviews.

Consistent-Chicken99

No lah. Nobody looks at it. In fact, some people, especially older folks don’t even have it. It was there in policy, but never actually given unless someone specifically ask for one. It’s only in recent years they make this more known, to create motivation and a sense of fulfillment.

foxtrotyyy

hear say excellent is only for those who extend their service

ipadPat

excellent requires superior to write testimonial hence usually most get very good.

Electronic-Initial24

During my found term, the CQ ORDed with a EXCELLENT + some coin? Like a commander coin or smth. He didnt extend.

jansen52x

nope

Dumas1108

Public sector mostly no effect but if you are applying for Govt sector, it can be taken into consideration

Surround-Flimsy

You mean private sector? Cos public sector = govt sector

cokex33

If U join govt job. The grade may affect ur starting pay.

Ecstatic-Ad-4331

Not your grades, but more of your vocation. Mine was in Armour and it caused me to be queried on my comfort level in perusing technical drawings lol.
