I am surprised they didn't even considered having Tien wishes to get his full potential unlocked like how Piccolo / Krillin / Gohan did. Plus Tien is already strong in his own right so the potential would give him a very extensible power boost especially if he trains daily.

He's the only one we know of that constantly trains even in peacetime, and doesn't have an unlimited potential increasing body, like the saiyans. He might just have worked his way to his own maximum output without some outside interference actually increasing his potential.
I feel like "unlocking his full potential" is just a way to say "be stronger" because Piccolo sure trains too but he still unlocked his Potential and it put him to SSJ Blue levels of strong while Namekians aren't known for their strength.
So it's just whatever now. Plus I am just not a fan of the narrative that Earthlings are stuck to being weak especially with all the Martial arts / ki manipulation / many, MANY techniques, martial arts and spells they have.
I just hate that because they are still undoubtedly the most accomplished fighters in the DBZ universe. This shouldn't be a thing.
