AJ-Maciejewski

I'm curious - what does it update exactly?

julsmanbr

Stability

That2Things

If only I could update my kickstand.

AJ-Maciejewski

Haha - I just bought a replacement kit and it's better than what comes with the Switch.

SauceFlexr

Which one did you get? Been looking around for a good option.

AJ-Maciejewski

I got this one just so I could increase the cart amount to get free shipping - [https://videogamesplus.ca/products/nsw-kickstand-for-nintendo-switch-repairbox](https://videogamesplus.ca/products/nsw-kickstand-for-nintendo-switch-repairbox) Turns out, it's actually pretty good. However, it snaps off if you open it at the wrong angle so I wouldn't say it's perfect.

AmirulAshraf

It is by design to snap off, doesnt it? To prevent it from breaking

Vyrophyl

This brought back some major trauma from 2017, when I first snapped of my kickstand and thought for a solid 20 seconds, that I'd broken my new switch after only a month.

cheesycoke

If it makes you feel any better, I remember pre-release someone at an official Nintendo event accidentally docked a Switch with the kickstand out and it went flying. This ended up serving as a nice advertisement of the kickstand's design.

Albake21

Oh I 100% remember doing the same thing. I’d love to know how many others did the same lol.

HuntCole

Reminds me of when I broke the Wii sensor bar with a vacuum. Why did they make the wire so thin!?

PaintAny9599

Any chance you can direct me to the repair kit for the joycon?

[deleted]

Do you not have OLED? My kickstand is the entire back and I really like it.

AJ-Maciejewski

Yeah - I have both an OLED and the original model. I got the original one on release day so its kickstand needed replacing after so much use as it didn't even close properly. The OLED stand is much better. 😊

[deleted]

Oh okay, that makes a lot of sense then

moxifloxacin

That was the biggest improvement when I got the OLED model.

zomorodian

Yeah, that and the larger screen makes tabletop play go from being a joke to an actual possibility.

potionvo

I thought it was only like a mm or 2 so I just looked it up. It's almost an entire inch bigger, that's pretty sweet. From 6.2 to 7.

JoviAMP

Yeah, and the fact that they managed it without affecting the height of the console so that the same Joycons properly fit both original and OLED consoles is amazing.

Moonlord_

Well they did have some room to work with…the bezel/border on the standard switch is huge.

kwenchana

The main board had to be completely redesigned to make room for the kickstand

Jordan_Jackson

Yeah, they basically filled in that black border around the screen on the OG switch models. Now the screen is basically the entire width of the console, giving it almost an entire inch of new real estate.

mbcook

Plus it works at almost any angle, which is a huge improvement too.

Head_Bananana

The OLED kick stand is SO nice

JumpstarNS

I lost mine like 4 years ago - I have never looked back (My friend got me one of the foldable metal switch stands for my birthday shortly sfter losing the kickstand so that helps)

Embarrassed-Plum-468

If only I could update my mental health

UndocumentedSailor

Not *that* stability

KageOG

you can. just have to buy a switch oled :D

Level-Down

I just use the kickstand that comes with the official travel case.

AJ-Maciejewski

That explains everything, thanks.

Callinon

But will my user experience also be enhanced?

i_iz_human

Wish they’d roll out an update for my brain

tehbotolsaya

So will that make my tremor hand more stable?

Ryeberry1

Adds controller drift to the analog sticks so you buy new joy-cons and pro controllers.

AJ-Maciejewski

Sounds fun but how much does the update itself cost?

MistaCizm

Standard is $45 or you can just upgrade to the No Refund Edition for $60

fishboy3339

Free for Nentendo online super plus

funkyb

$60, very occasionally on sale for $35 even though it's been out for 5 years

inaudible101

The new pro with TOTK comes with drift out of the box! Saved me soo many hours of break in time. It's nice to have the full Nintendo experience right away!

sincerelyhated

Adds? Nah, drift is a Feature inherently built into every joycon!

dirkdragonslayer

Actually for the pro controller the update will make it compensate for dead zones. Mine has a dead spot on the left stick, and updating it seems like it now reads the area below the dead zone as the maximum instead. Doesn't fix the problem, but it's slightly less worse.

Joe_The_Eskimo1337

Nintendo is required to fix them for free, though, right?

inaudible101

Yeah, but only recently in the UK. I was just checking out their website for this the other day. Looks like they provide shipping and everything. Haven't used it yet though.

PowerOfUnoriginality

I thought it was the EU

inaudible101

Probably. I forget they aren't the same thing anymore.

kewickviper

You joke but I wonder if there is any truth to this. I've got a first generation switch, bought in 2018 and have never updated my joycons and have also never had any issues with joystick drift or anything.

machucogp

I updated them a bunch of times, 2017 switch and still don't have drift

MA-121Hunter

I have only had drift on one joy con and I've owned so many, and the only reason it started to was how far away I was from my switch.

[deleted]

After launch they pushed an update that helped with Bluetooth connectivity.

UndocumentedSailor

Also supporting wireless headphones while using joycons

Pool_Shark

Wait you can connect blue tooth headsets now?

Ventronics

Yep, been that way for a minute now.

Dribblejam

Add more ice cubes

LoneStarrAUS

Why this update isn't applied automatically is beyond me...or at least a notification prompting you to update.

NurseTaric

If they make a new official accessory you get prompted before playing the game that uses it, switch sports, ring fit adventure etc.

dryingsocks

I've gotten update notifications for my controllers multiple times, I definitely needed to update to use the Ring-Con

chocotripchip

Same thing with software updates of games you haven't played recently. I want all my games to be up to date so that way if I don't have access to an internet connection I can play all my games without update prompts I can't do shit about. At least the controllers can be updated offline because the firmwares are included in the Switch's OS every time there's a system update.

danielcw189

> I want all my games to be up to date so that way if I don't have access to an internet connection I can play all my games without update prompts I can't do shit about Usually there is an option to start the game without the update.

lefsler

Maybe because you might do something odd with it, like attempting to pair with a pc, have it open and trying to remove the battery while its updating automatically.

Kuro013

If this fixes my joycons randomly desyncing while in handheld mode (how is that even possible) Ill buy you a sandwich and maybe a beer too.

-Potatochu-

One of my four joycons has done that for years. I’ve never found a fix, including updating it 🤷

Xipos

Maybe try taking a q-tip with a high percentage rubbing alcohol and cleaning the contacts on the controller and switch? Blowing it out with compressed air may help too. To my knowledge the connection in handheld mode is a hard connection and not wireless so I'd think maybe some contacts are dirty

Fuzhyon

I had this problem sometimes, and finaly discovered that my leg was blocking the signal while gaming. See if an obstacle is not between you and your switch

[deleted]

They are talking about playing in handheld mode. I‘ve experienced the same issue. The Switch sometimes somehow thinks that I removed the right joycon from the console.

Fuzhyon

Sorry misunderstood

RoadHazard

Hardware issue, the Joycon isn't making proper contact with the Switch.

AineLasagna

Had this issue on my launch Switch with three separate pairs of joycons. And I know it’s not the console itself because other joycons work, and they won’t even connect properly to a third-party joycon charger I got. There has to be some small piece that is breaking or bending somehow, keeping them from fitting. It’s annoying but I just use a pro controller now. It’s frustrating because I’m the kind of person who is extremely careful with electronics and take care of them well, but just the wear and tear of using them normally is apparently destroying them.

RoadHazard

Yeah, Joycons have the worst quality of any controller I've ever used, by far. I haven't had that specific issue, but issues with the sticks, buttons, etc.

xrubisco

if you've had your switch for awhile it may be due to grime built up on the joy cons that prevents the connection while in handheld mode, at least that's what was happening to mine before I upgraded to OLED, if I remember correctly I saw somewhere that said to gently use alcohol wipes but that may be wrong so I'd double check that

megaboymatt

The plastic circuit board inside the joycon rail is quite fragile and the ribbons are. I had this opened one up and found the part was broken. The way the robins are arranged inside as well has lots of hard folds which will break connections easily.lickily.notjinh in the joycon is soldered in so it's a quick easy fix and cheap to do at home.

JumpstarNS

A really early manufacturing defect in the first joycons was the side buttons ofjoycons not working due to there being a crease in the ribbon connecting the circuit board to the side buttons which preventedthe singsl from getting through. I had this in both of the joycons that originally came with my swtich grom 2017.

megaboymatt

I think that's what happened with mine. I've repaired that board, ribbon and joysticks in mine myself - it's not that hard and the parts are like £10. Cheaper than sending to Nintendo or buying new. Also quicker than the speed Nintendo turn them around if under warranty so worth the few £s it costs.

JumpstarNS

I tried doing that but I messed it up because I was like twelve and ended up bending the replacement ribbon lol

offlein

>The plastic circuit board inside the joycon rail is quite fragile and the ribbons are. I had this opened one up and found the part was broken. The way the robins are arranged inside as well has lots of hard folds which will break connections easily.lickily.notjinh in the joycon is soldered in so it's a quick easy fix and cheap to do at home. It sounds like there might be useful information here. Can someone translate it to English?

[deleted]

>The plastic circuit board inside the joycon rail is quite fragile as are the ribbons. I had this one opened up and found the part was broken. The way the ribbons are arranged inside has lots of hard folds which will break connections easily. Luckily, nothing in the joycon is soldered in so it's a quick, easy fix and cheap to do at home.

nero40

The contacts on your JoyCons could be dirty, or the rails could use some reinforcing of sorts. I had this problem on day one of owning my Switch (V2). I taped thin scotch tapes on the rails of both my JoyCons, one at the top, middle and bottom of the rails. Now, the JoyCons are more rigid to the Switch tablet and it never got disconnected again while on handheld mode. It’s much harder to take them off now though.

Tasty_Care_5949

Update us if it does lol

Kuro013

o7

derrick81787

This started happening to me after I let my 7 year old play on it in handheld mode for a week or so. It's a result of things being physically bent where the joycon attach to the Switch. You can bend the rails on the joycon a little bit to make it a tighter fit, or you can do what I did and add a tiny amount of scotch tape to the rail on the joycon that makes it fit in the Switch's rail tighter. That fixed it for me.

Lightharibo

It used to happen to me before it totally broke in the end. Faulty/broken ribbon that needed replacement, you can buy parts online and there’s tons of videos on how to do it, it’s quite easy actually. Works flawlessly now.

Kuro013

Not sure I can get those in my country but I'll look into it, thanks for the tip.

MaisCafePorFavor

I fixed mine after changing the locking plastic for a metal one. This all started after my brother dropped my Switch. My joycons was disconnecting randomly when playing handheld. I bought a [repair kit](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07926M1QJ?ref_=cm_sw_r_tw_mwn_dp_BDCHY77VVHX60FED34DP_6) on Amazon and my joycons never disconnected again

Briggity_Brak

spoiler alert: it doesn't.

Theio666

+1 for locking thing comment. Switch joycons has small plastic locks inside, and they break over time, last time I was replacing the drifting stick I replaced broken lock to metal one as well, fixed both desync and bad locking of joycon.

wickharr

For me I found it was my daughter playing with my extra joycons, it then prompts me to confirm which set I’m using. If you have an extra set check they’re not being pressed even a little or they’ll try to connect.

entarian

I sent my switch away to get the rails where the controllers slide in fixed.

robreras

That could be awesome

12pcMcNuggets

OMG mine do this too. I thought my console’s rails were freaking out.

Odd_Ad5668

That's actually a feature to make original NES users feel extra nostalgia. You're supposed to blow on the controller and the side of the switch to fix it. This does nothing, but it seems like you're accomplishing something.

nkantzavelos

My 2 pro controllers do this weird thing where they sometimes start having input lag and sometimes the input doesn’t register. The buttons and the analog sticks. I’ll turn the switch off and on and it goes away then randomly comes back later. Anyone else experienced this or heard about it?

MaybeSecondBestMan

Having the same problem this week. Never an issue before in hundreds of hours of use.

kuribosshoe0

Yeah I noticed this too just recently. It doesn’t seem quite the same as the stick drift I got with my old joy cons.

nkantzavelos

Yeah it’s not stick drift. But it’s just so annoying. Especially when you’re going Lynel hunting and every input needs to be spot on

Reasonable-Physics81

Ya i started using my playstation controller.. too many issues with the pro controller

mecartistronico

Any changes in your house's electromagneric field? New router? More wifi devices? Faulty microwave? New neighbors?

MaybeSecondBestMan

None of the above to the best of my knowledge! I’m going to try this update though and see if it helps.

1760s

This started happening to me intermittently. I've found that going to the home menu and using the controller menu to re-sync the controller consistently fixes it, at least.

VDZx

Are you sure the signal isn't just getting blocked by something? That causes those same symptoms (inputs either being dropped or getting delayed).

nkantzavelos

I got my switch in the same spot always. Sometimes it does it and sometimes it does. It even does it when I play table top mode with the pro controller.

Clydeisfried

Yup this just happened when i started playing totk. I thought it was drift? But it wasnt like drift? It stopped happening after afew days, weird though

zoedrinkspiss

I have this issue, but only on my friend's switch for some reason

jjremy

I have a fun one where the battery seems to always be low. It's been an issue since the day I got it. I've tried using official Nintendo cords, and power blocks, and charging it straight from the switch. But the battery still doesn't last more than an hour or two most times. Occasionally it'll will immediately say it's dead right after unplugging the dang thing.

barbietattoo

If you bought it new you messed up not returning it

lll_RABBIT_lll

Yep. Same with me.

diggersbynation

I had this begin about a week ago. The combined anecdotes in this thread indicate incompetence by Nintendo with a recent update.

BaraStarkGaryenSter

What the hell i thought i was going crazy! Could this be something related to TOTK?

Alemlelmle

I've had this happen to both my right joy cons, can't work it out. No issues with my pro controller though

Historical_Kossola

I'm experiencing this as well! I've been playing tears of the kingdom docked and assumed it was a bug related to the game (I typically play handheld) A tip: Pressing the home button and scrolling back and forth on the main menu for some seconds will usually make the issue go away temporarily in my experience

nkantzavelos

It does the same thing in the menu for me. I have to turn on and off or change controller grips to get rid of it. Hope it’s just an update that’s needed

Historical_Kossola

Oh man that sounds even worse than my issues. Good luck!

Lucamiten

ive been experiencing this since last month when i play splatoon or apex, so i just bought a 8bitdo and use my dual sense because its really annoying

nkantzavelos

That’s strange. I think i first experienced it with splatoon as well. Must be a firmware thing

Jonny_Icon

This isn't a solution by any means, but Bluetooth has a fairly finite bandwidth to deal with, and might be interfered by other sources in the same signal range. TVs, other consoles, treadmills, microwaves... they could theoretically interfere... or, one of the recent updates has affected this... I know bluetooth audio was introduced with one update in the past year, and maybe something along those lines has repercussions. I JUST got an 8bitdo Ultimate Controller on sale, and curiously ships with a USB2.4G dongle you can opt to use that similarly connects over 2.4Ghz, but at much lower latency than bluetooth, and 100x the bandwidth availability. Bluetooth is working fine for me, but that 2.4G mode might be something I'll explore one day.

mvanvrancken

The new update adds support for quantum entanglement, so now your controller communicates using paired electron spin data

AJ-Maciejewski

Awesome! Home planet - here I come!

gooch_norris_

I hear the next update will allow you to invert the polarity of the tachyon beam

mvanvrancken

Dammit Jim I'm a physicist, not a gamer!

say_no_to_shrugs

Okay, I hate to be a pedant, but though you’re inverting the polarity of each tachyon, since you’re referring to the continuous function of the tachyon *beam*, you’re actually inverting its *phase*. Anyway, this has been delayed so many times at this point it’s probably going to be bumped to the Switch 2

XoRMiAS

So it makes the connection more stable?

piedol

No, it just means when one side drifts, the other automatically does too so you don't have to feel as bad about buying a new pair of controllers and having an odd extra.

mvanvrancken

Quantum drift, ah yes

Mason11987

what happened to the leaked update that it would use paired positrons?

mvanvrancken

Positrons? Don’t be ridiculous, this is Nintendo. They’d never use an advanced technology like that. Say hello to quantum drift, though!

mooys

omg! Switch AE2 update!!!

Trrzs

Sorry if this is kinda off topic but I would like to know if someone else has the same problem: I have a problem with my new Pro Controller TOTK edition. In Zelda, when I use the bow, for example and I move the controller to aim, it doesn't register the input, I need to use the right stick to move the reticle so I can use gyro aiming after that, it's weird, it doesn't happen with my old Pro controller, and I don't have any problem in the new one using Splatoon gyro aiming, for example. I updated it and recalibrate many times and it still happens ):

Coltrain_

It might be very very minor drift. Totk disables gyro aiming while the stick is moving the camera, so if it has the tiniest bit of drift that might not even be noticable it'll lock the gyro. Had this problem sometimes with my joycons until i replaced the sticks and it's been fine since. Weird to drift that soon though if the controller is new

GlumNature

The TOTK edition pro controller has a known and common drift issue out of the box. It's a whole thing.

owl-bears

I don't know if it's the game itself but my pro controller (bought it new in 2017 with the console) is showing drift for the first time ever since playing TOTK.

harriedhag

Me too. What the OP commenter described with bow & aiming is exactly what’s happening with my old pro controller. I’ll raise the bow, and gyro aim will tilt to 7 o’clock until I use the stick to reorient.

elMurpherino

Mine had that. It seemed to be getting stuck just south of center but only on the map and if I tapped the controller it would go back to center. Ended up opening it up and using electrical contact cleaner and now it’s working fine.

Trrzs

Oh thanks, that makes sense, sadly I can confirm the controller has, in fact, a minor drift but I just noticed in the left stick, because when I open the map the reticle moves a little sometimes, it doesn't affect the gameplay since is very minor, now I'm sure that is happening with the right stick too, damn I'm sad ): because I bought the controller in Amazon japan and would I'd rather keep it to be involved in all the return thing. Having a drift problem so soon even in the pro controller Nintendo should be embarrassed and fix the problem asap, what a sh*tshow man. But thanks a lot for your logical explanation, I'll see if recalibrate more fix the problem.

DRHAX34

Same happens to me, the controller seems to have a bit of drift. It sucks on a new controller to be honest.

Coltrain_

Could try replacing the sticks with electromagnetic hall sticks, its a permanent solution because they never wear. I found that it was surprisingly not too difficult on the joycons, no idea about the pro controller though. Whatever you decide to do, good luck!

SoapyMacNCheese

The company which makes the joycon stick replacements, Gulikit, hasn't made a solution for regular controllers yet (pro controller, Xbox controller, etc.) and no other brand has come to market with a solution. Gulikit's stick design requires sensors mounted on the PCB below the stick, so even though they have full sized sticks in their own controllers, they can't be used as a drop in replacement for other controllers. Both the Steam Deck and Joycons have their analog sticks mounted on daughterboards, so they can make modules for them with the necessary circuitry. Even when Gulkit or someone else releases a solution, swapping out the sticks on the pro controller won't be as beginner friendly as the joycon swap, due to the fact that you'll have to desolder the original sticks and solder in the new ones.

Nephiel

Those Hall effect sticks are not available for the Pro Controller... yet: https://youtu.be/oAsrLxaAkY0

elMurpherino

I had minor drift on my new totk pro controller. Well not really true drift but left one got stuck just south of center when I moved it slightly and only would show up in map, not game and if I tapped the controller it would stop drifting. I opened it up and sprayed the joystick pretty good with electrical contact cleaner and that ended up fixing the issue for me

Tasty_Care_5949

I haven‘t played totk yet, does botw also lock the gyro while the stick is being used? Or is it something new to get accustomed to?

mrepinky

It feels different in TotK to me. As if the gyro takes a second to kick in after the initial aiming with the stick, which kind of defeats the purpose with the bow because your monster target has moved by that point. It’s the same with both the Joycon and Pro Controller. Because of this post, I’m going to fire up BotW and see if there’s a difference.

tequila_greg

Is this what I've been experiencing? I'm not sure if its the same, It happens to me mostly with ultra hand where if I'm moving the right joystick to aim at something, then press the left bumper to use ultra hand, I have to re center my right joystick for it to be responsive again. Its the most bizarre thing where my aimer freezes despite my joystick being fully pushed in any direction.

seraph089

That's seperate, and 100% intentional. They don't want you to use the stick to select a power from the selection wheel then have the camera swing away crazily, so powers always ignore stick input for a sec when you activate. If you center the stick (or hit L without stick input) it 'resets' instantly and accepts input.

locotonja

I'm having the same problem since at least 2-3 months. It happens in BOTW and TOTK for me. I haven't tried any other games unfortunately. I've had my pro controller for about 2 years now and never had a problem before. I hope it's not a hardware problem.

Coltrain_

Check my other reply, it may help you as well.

locotonja

That makes sense. I have noticed some drifting occasionally.

Trrzs

A nice guy replied my post too saying it could be drift, and yeah, looks like that's right sadly ): I'll try to keep recalibrate the sticks, maybe it could fix because is barely imperceptible.

Ultimo_D

Gyro aiming in TotK is definitely less sensitive then BotW. I find that it’s a bit jumpy on occasion when trying to make fine movements. Never had this problem with BotW

SnowyGyro

I have not had this experience, but wireless connection can get spotty and introduce anomalies. Does this also happen when in handheld or playing very close to the console?

flickshotHanzo

hey you described my exact problem. same totk edition pro controller and the minor minor drift on the map occasionally. even the moving of the controller to aim issue. i thought it was just me

Headless_

This was happening with my TotK pro controller out of the box as well. I tried every possible 'solution' online, but the only thing that ended up working was opening up the controller and using an electronic contact cleaner on the insides of the joysticks. Then I let it sit for a bit, put it back together, and recalibrated the sticks in the switch settings -- it's a bit stressful but there are some videos online to help out, and my minor drift and gyro issues in TotK were fixed after using this method.

MachoCyberBullyUSA

I don’t think I knew pro controllers could be updated too!

Sjknight413

Also worth noting that this won't provide the magical fix to any issues you're looking for. I've never noticed an improvement or any difference from these updates!

Terrible-Ad1587

I had a switch for years and never knew this. Just updated mine, thanks!

clbrri

Be careful with the update. With a sample size of one: I got the Switch controller calibration process break down completely with the controller update. Details at [https://www.reddit.com/r/zelda/comments/13h1kf4/comment/jlxk3bw/?utm\_source=reddit&utm\_medium=web2x&context=3](https://www.reddit.com/r/zelda/comments/13h1kf4/comment/jlxk3bw/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=web2x&context=3)

la6eef7

I updated and it somehow eliminated 90% of the drift🤷🏻‍♂️

martinsuchan

Sadly, it cannot fix the drift.

VelvetAurora45

I wish it would fix my right joycon going wireless mode even though it's plugged to the console 100% of the time

dfreakingo

the stability!

Swordeus

I was playing through Bayonetta 2 when I noticed I was getting a lot of input lag. I spent hours trying to figure out what was causing it; I assumed something was creating interference with the wireless connection. Then I found something online about updating the controllers. First time I'd ever heard of that. Fixed the problem instantly.

dankdc5_

I don't get it how else were u supposed to do it?

LazerBarracuda

Just pointing out that the feature to update the controllers is there

AbeRod1986

I bought a new pair of joycons a few weeks ago and haven't updated them, thanks for the reminder!

Puzzled-Baby-5767

thank you!!

gpg676

I was having severe drifting in my left joycon and somehow this update got it sorted, surprisingly. I'm gonna keep using it to see if the drift comes back.

gpg676

Update: it's still drifting a bit, but nowhere near what it was before.

Hinaha

Wait this was how I updated my controllers since day 1. What was the other way of updating the controllers?

LazerBarracuda

The other option is not updating them 🤷🏻‍♂️

SlipperyGrizzlyMan

Lol

Yew_Tree

good to know, thanks.

[deleted]

SirCaesar29

Idk why people are downvoting you, it's not like a controller needs security patches. It's a tool: if it is working, don't fix it. Another common thing for which "do not update if you don't have any problems" is valid advice is a computer's BIOS.

ThottrainerBoi

That’s like saying don’t go to the doctor if you aren’t dying

clbrri

In this case I heartily repeat that advice. Do not update if you don't have any problems. I updated my Switch Pro controller, and after the update the whole calibration menu broke down. Details at [https://www.reddit.com/r/zelda/comments/13h1kf4/comment/jlxk3bw/?utm\_source=reddit&utm\_medium=web2x&context=3](https://www.reddit.com/r/zelda/comments/13h1kf4/comment/jlxk3bw/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=web2x&context=3)

ThottrainerBoi

Very interesting, however you seem to have a physical default with the controller as well as system bugs.

mecartistronico

I'd say it's: do not _take medicines_ if you aren't sick.

PForsberg85

More like: don't go to the doctor if you aren't sick.

2this4u

You do realise this is why checkups exist right? Things like cancer can start far earlier than the symptoms and can be treated much easier earlier on.

[deleted]

which is also bad, because you should regularly see doctor(s), even if youre not sick. getting health checks, cancer examinations etc

ThottrainerBoi

Exactly! So update your joycons, kids 🤷‍♂️

[deleted]

If only that made it so my pro controller wasn't flat every single time I go to use it

ImProphylactic

How lol

jjremy

I have the same problem. Even when I leave it plugged in.

xdxAngeloxbx

the update somehow made my joycon drift even worse lol I did it last week. (Edit: Im completely aware that these 2 things have nothing to do with eachother)

ShamaloDXD

Bruh 💀

Charmichel1

My "rs" button stopped working after the last update

KlTKAT395

Yes. Stanley Parable was unplayable before I recalibrate the right sticker.

Sailor_Dee

I’m replacing the side rails on my switch since it’s getting older now, it’s one of the earliest models, and hopefully that fixes it,,,

Double-Mouse-5386

I did this and still can't use the joycons when I have my iPad near me. Causes mini stutters in the joycon connection to the switch

Karevoa

You can update your dock too! Absolutely no idea what it does, but it has happened before.

hyperrainz

Not as related but my launch v1 I have never updated the Dock where there's a setting that could. Never had any problem for years, was there ever any reason to?

LazerBarracuda

I know the button is there, but I don’t think they’ve ever pushed out an update for the dock.
