The hype sticker was used when this was first released, as it is on the copy I bought back then. The tracks were hard to get back then. It was released in 1992 and music sharing online, mp3, the internet as we know it now was just a dream.
It still amazes me how much has changed. CDs used to seem like a cool new thing.
"Rare B Sides", I may be wrong about this, but I think, at the time this came out, the Sliver single was obviously a Sub Pop release, I don't think a very mainstream release like Nevermind or any of the Nevermind singles were, and it could have also been out of print;
The Blew EP was a european release only, which is where Stain came from. So, Incesticide is when / where many north american fans (or any fans outside of any european countries) first heard Stain.
Other tracks were previously released on the Hormoaning EP, and... I thought that was a special "tour promotion" kind of release only in Australia and Japan. Tracks like Molly's Lips, Son Of A Gun and Turnaround were on Hormoaning.
Did you try refund or did u decide it was too much bother? I probs would have js been annoyed but then put the CD on and listened 2 great music and forgot abt it lol
HELP I WAS JUST READING THROUGH THE LINER NOTE WHEN I DROPPED IT ON THE FLOOR AND MY BLOODY RABBIT CAME UP AND CHEWED THE CORNER SO NOW ITS GOT A LIL NIBBLE MARK OUT OF IT ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
No, I figured it was some re-release that didn't have it and called it a day. The CD was obviously what I really wanted, but I was still disappointed in the lack of the liner notes.
Looks like the normal CD release to me.
Yh that's what I thought the sticker just made me question it lol
That sticker is OG

The hype sticker on it is great. I'm not sure how common or rare those are.they often get rub worn peeled or ripped off.
Yes was kinda surprised that the sticker hadn't been picked at or was faded. Part of the reason I love it ๐.
I got my copy in early 2000s and it still had hype sticker like on on this picture

thatโs just the original sticker. they were rare then
Does it have the liner notes?
Yeah
I was so mad when I got my copy of the CD because it didn't have them.
Oml I would have been so annoyed
I always check tho (unless they are sealed obvs)
Mine was sealed. I was so looking forward to seeing the liner notes, because I loved them so much lol, and they weren't there. I was pissed.

That linernote was limited run for some odd reason.
Oh guess I got lucky then.
That's weird. But at least now I don't feel so cheated.

My CD hype sticker says "Limited edition blue swirl vinyl." lol No liner note though.
Classic. Still have my original
I have the original bought in 1992 and has that same sticker on
Nice
I wish u still had my CD collection. โSighโ.
I also got my copy of that cd at a garage sale! It was only the disc so i had to print the cover art, still couldn't pass it up for a dollar lol.
