I want Hero to be lean, maybe cut at most, the only exercise we know he does is cardio, at most, he's just losing body fat and not building as much muscle, I want Mari to be RIPPED, we know she did Softball and shit, she has to have wrought iron arms to contrast with her boyfriend’s dainty malewife arms.
It’s mentioned that she did volleyball but injured her knee so had to stop. The injury resting in her having like a permanently weak knee. I can’t remember where it mentioned it.

this is probably the result of these screenshots being from tumblr, but I doubt anyone is genuinely concerned this will happen in the manga. On tumblr, it's very common to over-exaggerate how you feel about something when it comes to fandom. I don't actually think that Hero's appearance in the manga vs. in the game vs. what I'd like to see are a make-or-break thing. I just would prefer for Hero not to be muscular.

I'm scared for a manga adaptation. Then my fanfiction may not make sense:( and if they make a an anime, Alexis Tipton is Aubrey and Matt Shipman is Hero in my mind. Those voices fit very well
if they ever made an anime, my RW Aubrey voice headcanon would be for sure screwed because my hc for her voice is like...feminine Beetlejuice is the best I can describe it. Very gravely voice. It's like, not even really that feminine, if I ever found an actual voiceclaim for her you would not be able to tell the character is a 16 year old girl from voice alone. The closest I've ever heard to what I imagine for this girl's voice is how CaptainAdorable voices Aubrey in their Omori Meme Dub videos.
in the way of fanfiction though, I usually consider canon as a suggestion, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Imagine this being the first time I hear of Omori getting a manga. I always imagined he would be average build, at least in RW he seems like the kind of guy to keep fit but not super athletic iykwim.
I’d imagine Hero after he gotten back from college being fit, perhaps more athletic than he used to be, but not buff since he managed to save both Basil and Sunny from drowning.
Hero shouldn’t be like ripped, but the game makes a point to show Hero became more atheltic when he grew up. It’s part of his character where he has to be good at everything, even things he didnt like (like excercise, as shown in the dream world). Twink Hero only lives in my heart
